SUMMATION: After engaging with the wisey.app site and reading/scanning multiple policies and other web research including on TrustPilot, I recommend *NOT* engaging with the wisey app or website at all, even to try it out. UPDATE: I remain wary of overly aggressive disclaimers and lack of transparency of pricing. However, I’m upgrading from one star to two due to a thoughtful response from the company that leaves room for possible customer service improvement. If you are tempted to engage with this company, save the email address they provided. NOTE: My experience is of trying to find out information on the policies and pricing of the app, and trying to sign up but then deciding not to engage with them. This review is a result of my research and engagement with them, from seeing an advertisement in a game until opting out partway through the process. Despite engaging screens in advertising, I became suspect of this ADHD support app (available through wisey.app) when I could not find any pricing information on their website or elsewhere on the web -- until helpful TrustPilot reviews. There's a lot of info on their site about your responsibilities in paying them, but none about the cost of the service. You have to follow a "survey" that constitutes acceptance of their terms before you can see any pricing. From several sources, you PAY $20 for a "30-day trial". Then, you are automatically charged $59.99/month. Additionally, multiple users say it is very difficult to extricate yourself, including minimal--and often no--response from "support". I hope this review saves you time. :)

This is one of those places that offers you a free trail with hopes you are going to forget, and they target people with ADHD. Within minutes of receiving the email I was going to be charged I contacted them, they politely told me to go F myself they were keeping the $100. I don't even remember agreeing to $100 every 3 months seems way too high, for me to agree to. So I'm trying to help you avoid giving money to this evil company.

This app is a scam. They only provide very generic information about adhd. I tried to unsubscribe within the app and it didn’t take.

I feel that the lesson I learned is that low self esteem is the major influence of procrastination. Also, breaking down large goals into smaller chunks makes this gargantuan task much easier to accomplish.
Response from WiseyMay 27, 2025

My (personal opinion) is that Wisey.app uses deceptive web design and dark patterns. They were cooperative with cancelling the subscription I foolishly, and accidentally signed up for. They did take the opportunity in the rather patronizing email they sent, to remind me that they were operating within the policies that they made clear to me, made statements boasting of their transparency, and went on to state how much they cared about their customers. Needless to say, due to this experience, my faith in this company and their products has been reduced to zero. My search will continue for a company that has enough confidence in the efficacy of their product to not have to resort to deceptive practices to get me to purchase it. Good luck to you all, be aware that you may be signing up for a reoccurring monthly fee, and that other purchases on the website such as e-books, are easy to accidentally make, which they will refuse a refund. Wise up, Wisey, and start treating your customers like you really do care.
