This isn't targeting the customer…
This isn't targeting the customer service people who are paid by an unethical company to catch crap from angry customers. But I need to say it about the company anyway. I'm extremely unhappy about this predatory policy. I have not used this program in months and I thought I'd canceled awhile back. Now, I just noticed they'd charged me a total of $195 over these months. Whether they say they intended to do this or not in their service agreement, they rely on an ADHD person to forget to cancel or become distracted mid cancel, and they offer no refunds. The last time I logged in was today to just check to see if my subscription had been canceled. I canceled it--though I was almost positive I'd done it months ago--and I haven't opened this app or touched these exercises in months, so I’m clearly not using the program. Despite this, they've charged me $60 a month for 3 months for it to sit on my phone and me to not use it and they are okay with not giving me a refund for even the last $60? They claim to be a helper for ADHD people and they know that people forget or become distracted and they're perfectly fine sitting back and collecting $60 a month for basically doing nothing for these people who forget. I can understand if someone was actually using the app, but when we're not, they’re collecting that much to just do the bare minimum. That's an outrageous amount. This is highway robbery. They're taking advantage of someone with ADHD, who either was distracted mid cancelation months ago or who did cancel it back then and it just didn't take. They spin the trial as a trial, which means it should be free, but it's not. It's $15. Fine. But if we're already paying $15 for the subscription, and they already gave us everything, then that's how much it should remain unless we decide to do a more involved program. But then they automatically bump someone up to $60 a month after the trial and give them nothing seemingly different? That's predatory. And they know it. If it remained $15 a month, fine, I might have not been as disgusted. But $59.99 a month? Given the many one star reviews they've accumulated, it's clear their business practices have been shady enough for many others. If they are legitimate, I suggest they change their policies, unless they enjoy being seen by many as a scam. Avoid at all costs!!

Dear Ashley! We’re very sorry for the frustration and distress this experience has caused! We truly appreciate you explaining your situation so clearly. Wisey is designed to support people with ADHD, not add to their stress, and we regret that our policies and communication did not feel fair or transparent to you. Subscription charges and cancellation terms are outlined in the agreement, but we understand that this doesn’t lessen the impact when someone believes they canceled or wasn’t actively using the program. Your feedback about pricing, trial structure, and how easily cancellations can be missed is taken seriously and has been shared internally. Please contact our support team at [email protected] so we can review your account history in detail and see what assistance may still be possible. Have a wonderful day!
