WIO Bank My Experience with Wio Bank is worst as they will not responds to mail as per there mail address if you call to chargeable no number they will keep line on hold that cost much more over they don’t have physical branch in Dubai & Sharjah to visit & complain

I don’t even have the words to describe how terrible the customer service is. This is, without a doubt, the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. Endless delays, no follow-up, and the same useless responses over and over again.

Not a secure bank. Someone was able to charge around 10,000 dirhams on my card, without requiring 2FA of any kind (SMS, app, email). I have never had my card details stolen. Someone basically just bruteforced my card details and WIO didn't bother to ask for any verification and let them charge around AED 10,000 . It took a month or two to get the money back. The support was pretty much useless.

Our company had a Director change in February 2026. We submitted documents on beginning of March. Till this day the director change was not finalised and our account frozen. No explanation. Every time we call support they say it's in process and will be done within 24h. Also cant move the money out of the account or do transactions. All information is gathered for a lawsuit against WIO currently.

Customer support used to be good. Steadily declining. They no longer give personal support on specific issues and now are difficult to reach with a paid line (used to be free) Easy to use app, no glitches and very fast. Technically proficient Good for multi currency spending and travelling, seamless and innovative credit card to debit card system. cheap global atm withdrawals and genuinely multi currency cards. There are better and cheaper ways for serious investors to exchange major currency and invest in the whole UAE markets such as regulated brokerages. However they do offer a good platform for individual stock equity investing in DFM and ADG They also support remittance of minor currencies but for this, try Noon/Careem instead of banks if you have a bonus membership subscription. They also do not offer currency exchange for physical cash 3 stars but deserves 4 relative to competition

Very impressed with WIo so far. Low commission trading of US and UAE stocks. Smart portolios. Low currency conversion fees and transfer fees low too. What is not to like so far:)

There service is so poor, they are making there own policy. Customer care executive Mr. Shivpal has threatened me that we have full right to take money back also from your account. Yes this is exact words he used. I asked him to arrange call back from manager immediately.

best bank in gulf. never had any problems for last 2 years of usage. yes basic interest rate down from 5.5 to 4 but it still the best.
