I was scammed once before when buying from an online website without checking its credentials beforehand. It has happened again. It won’t for a third time. I am done with buying from a company which appears to have numerous addresses and which does not fulfil any of its promises with regard to items purchased. I have lost a considerable amount of money from these mistakes. Don’t follow my stupid example.
You can see that from all the other negative reviews. Do not buy from this company.

Scam, cheap quality and no refund
Very poor quality and service. For the price I paid, the item honestly felt like it was worth a couple of pounds. Staff ignore return requests and just push discounts or replacements. The website claims “easy returns”, but that certainly wasn’t my experience. Even if you do manage to return it, the return shipping cost can be nearly half the price you paid for the item. I’ve cut my losses. My advice: avoid at all costs and shop elsewhere
I wouldn’t even give them 1 star.

DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I would also give no stars. I think this company is committing some kind of fraud. It’s shocking that they are allowed to sell in this country when they have no address here!!
The fact that they have no office here means they don’t have to adhere to Consumer Rights.
After many e mails and discovering how much it will cost me to return the items I am unwilling to give them any more money!!!
I have accepted a 20% refund which I’m raging about.
Clothes are nothing like those online and fabric and sizing is poor.

Won’t be fooled again !
Do not be fooled by the website which makes Wilson and Carter look like a reputable British company. Rather this is a factory based in china shipping out items. I ordered a cotton blend dress in the “sale” and received a polyester dress which is flimsy, and poor quality. To return you have to email them and if you get a reply it is a.i. generated . I was offered a 10% refund which was insulting as the advertising was false and misleading. I disputed the sale through my credit card company. Do not use this company.

I successfully received a full refund through American Express – AVOID THIS COMPANY!
I successfully received a full refund through American Express – AVOID THIS COMPANY!
In my experience, Wilson and Carter has been an absolutely appalling company to deal with. The merchandise I received was of extremely poor quality and, in my opinion, significantly different from what was advertised on the website.
I also feel the website gives a highly misleading impression that you are buying from a London-based fashion company. It repeatedly refers to "London", states that the company was "Founded in London", provides a UK telephone number, and the parcel itself was labelled "Wilson & Carter London". However, my dresses were dispatched from China, and there was nothing obvious when I placed my order to indicate this or that returns would involve sending the goods to an international warehouse at considerable expense.
The dresses took approximately two weeks to arrive and, when they did, I was shocked by the quality. In my opinion, they were significantly different from the photographs and descriptions on the website. The material was extremely thin and had the look and feel of cheap polyester. One dress had a skirt that was almost completely see-through, with an underskirt that only extended part way down, leaving my legs clearly visible. This was certainly not apparent from the website photographs.
The website advertises "Easy Returns", "hassle-free returns" and a "30-Day Money-Back Guarantee". However, when I requested a full refund, I was told that I would need to pay approximately $30–$50 USD per item to return the dresses to an international warehouse. Before they would even provide the return address, I was required to complete and print a return form and send them photographs of it for approval.
I tried repeatedly to resolve the matter directly. Rather than addressing my concerns about the quality of the dresses or the misleading impression given by the London branding, I was successively offered 10%, 20%, 30% and finally 40% refunds if I agreed to keep the dresses.
I eventually raised a dispute with my credit card provider, American Express, providing photographs, website screenshots and the full email correspondence. American Express investigated my complaint and I successfully received a full refund of £89.91.
My advice to anyone experiencing similar problems is to keep screenshots of everything and retain all correspondence. If you paid by credit card, consider contacting your card provider to ask whether you are able to raise a dispute. Every case will depend on its individual circumstances, but this was the only way I was able to obtain a satisfactory resolution.
I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from this company to do thorough research and read the recent independent customer reviews before purchasing.

Scammers
I reported this Chinese company to Google, as they advertise it, I pointed out that they state LONDON on there advertising, they show a picture of Tower Bridge and what one would assume is a bespoke tailors shop, however they are Chinese and produce cheap shoddy goods. I said their advert was DELIBERATELY misleading and false advertising, astonishingly Google refuses to take it down 😳
