I must have been one of the lucky ones as I have no complaints about the top I bought. Luckily I don’t have to return the item, or I Imight have been writing a very different review according to other reviews I have been reading.

Do not touch this company. I received my goods and the goods received were not the quality shown in the advertisement. Since receiving the product I’ve been waiting 10 days to get my goods returned they are now not answering emails and give no other way of contacting them on their website this is being the worst experience from any online company.

Dreadful quality. My mistake for not checking reviews. They really don't care. OFT /ASA should get involved.

** update: my cc company put a temp refund on my account pending a refund from t his company. Credit now showing from the company. Waiting to see if it clears. Meanwhile company are still emailing me offering a 50% refund. I think AI Emily needs to give up! This is an update to a review I left yesterday. Having done some research and per ‘which’, despite the company being outside the UK, you should be covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 / distance selling rules and it applies to items sold outside of the UK although they may still ignore you. Provide the details and ‘which’ will formulate an email to the company. Worth a go! I have copied the relevant legislation included in the email. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract I have with Wilson and Carter London that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. As you are in breach of contract and I've owned the product for less than 14 days, I am within my statutory rights to ask for it to be refunded. I await confirmation that you will provide the remedy set out above within 14 days of the date of this letter.

This page isn’t the vile shop but it’s an author but as many have posted about this company I will post here for info. Order #WC866594 for a tatty rubbish top Let’s be very clear, this company have a very glossy website using recognisable Uk images to pretend to be a UK company. THEY HAVE ZERO PRESENCE IN THE UK They do not have any Uk offices Please make sure you read all the litany of disasters of consumers experiences. My own case I bought a top from them on 14/08/26 I ordered a red/orange Dashiki type african top at £39.95 when it eventually arrived it was a very bright yellow with a “pattern” on it that had all the sophistication of a poorly co-ordinated five year olds attempt at painting on very thin poor quality cloth. Despite me entering into discussion with them by e mail they maintained they sent what I ordered and it was of merchantable quality. It transpires that they routinely are failing and it’s clear the only way you can reyurn items is, if they send you a label as no other address is capable of accepting returns. The reviews I have read imply that they ask you to return their item to China at your expense! Eventually after silence for a few days, as I was reporting them to the police/government report fraud when I discovered they had set up a regular payment against my bank account (which unsurprisingly I deleted with discussion with Barclays) I got an long awaited e mail offering me the choice of a free replacement or a 15% refund! It will not surprise readers that I refused all offers. I told them I want a FULL refund plus a postage paid label for returns. I told them I would give them 5 working days or I will interpret that as a repudiation of ownership and will donate it to an unfortunate charity. I strongly recommend you DON’T even consider this deeply dubious questionable rabble Reply from Watson And Carter 4 hours ago Hi p, We're sorry it went this way. We'd like the chance to put it right rather than leave you with it. Email us at infoatwatson-and-carter.com with your order number and any earlier messages, and we'll look into what happened and come back to you with a fair resolution. Kind regards, The Watson & Carter Team Watson and Carter, you might want to talk to your employee “Emily Parker” who has been in intermittent contact with on your posted e mail offering ludicrous “solutions” like a replacement from a company selling tat or an ex gratia payment of 15% which equates to £5.99. There is no current listing on companies house, unsurprising for a company including London in their e mail address whilst based in China! Ignore all pious platitudes they are in business to sell tat and not serve anything but their own bank accounts! ***AVOID***AVOID***AVOID***AVOID***AVOID*** Then the idiots copy and paste the same vacuous reply pretending they care DO NOT BE FOOLED Edit Delete Share Reply from Watson And Carter An hour ago Hi p, We're sorry about how this has gone, and we understand the frustration. We'd rather look into it than leave it standing as it is. Could you email us at infoatwatson-and-carter.com with your order number and anything you've already sent us? We'll go through it and work towards a fair resolution. Kind regards, The Watson & Carter Team Another copy and paste reply taking zero account of the reply I gave to the first vacuous reply DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!! Let’s see if they copy and paste the same again showing they don’t read posts properly. You have the order number on this thread AND you can talk to your incompetent employee who sends me platitudes. Don’t ask me to pointlessly re e mail you, you have ALL you need Edit Delete Share Reply from Watson And Carter 9 hours ago Hi p, We're sorry it went this way. Like others, I wish I'd read the reviews. Poor communication apart from auto-generated ones. The fact that the returns are an international warehouse is a massive issue and completely contrary to their website assertion: "EASY RETURNS Shop with confidence. If it’s not the right fit, our hassle-free returns make it simple to send it back." No money refunded and no replacement items despite being offered on 20th July: "As a one-time exception, we can send you a completely free replacement in the correct size, with no shipping or processing fees at all. You won’t need to return the original item — simply confirm the correct size and we’ll handle everything from our side. I do want to be fully transparent. Returns must be shipped back to our international warehouse, which typically costs around $30–$50 USD per product. That’s why most customers prefer a free replacement instead — it’s faster, easier, and avoids unnecessary costs." It costs more per product to return, than the products cost??? 'Correct size"?? I ordered XL and I'm a UK 14 - they were so ridiculously tight, I doubt a UK size 10 would have fitted in them. I don't know about you but I can ill afford to lose £80 for nothing. Totally useless - is there anyway we can spread the word about our experiences other than using this site?
