I have been in correspondence with this company over the last 24 days and no offer of a full refund nor pre-paid return label has been given, despite apologetic replies from them. My final response is below: 'The only fair outcome is for me to be fully refunded. Your offer of 100% credit to buy something else from your website does not solve the problem - I would just receive another unacceptable item which would not be either what I wanted in the first place nor as described on the website etc which leads people to believe you are London based! I have looked at the very poor ratings for Wilson & Carter and wish I had checked the Company out on Trustpilot before purchasing. As of today there are 465 reviews giving a score of ONE for Wilson & Carter! This is a FRAUDULANT company and should never appear on a search engine.' Angela Cosford

Unwearable dungarees and an exhausting refund process I ordered three pairs of Letitia dungarees from Wilson & Carter, and I am extremely disappointed. The website photographs appeared to show a substantial, matte fabric. What arrived was thin, shiny material that looked completely different from the advertised products. In my opinion, all three pairs are unwearable. I would not feel comfortable wearing them, and they are nothing like what I believed I was buying. This is not simply a case of changing my mind or deciding that something does not suit me. My complaint is that the fabric, finish and overall appearance are significantly different from the website photographs. I provided photographs explaining this and asked for a full refund and a prepaid return label. What followed was a frustrating series of emails offering increasingly higher partial refunds, from 10% through to 50%, despite my repeatedly explaining that I did not want to keep the items. A partial refund still leaves me paying for clothing I cannot wear. Even after the matter reached their “Escalations & Compliance” team, nothing was resolved. Their emails acknowledged that I had repeatedly rejected partial refunds—and then offered another partial refund. Although they describe themselves as a London-based webshop, they told me I must pay to return all three items to China to pursue a full refund. I would then have to wait several weeks for delivery and inspection before my refund request could be reviewed. They refused to provide a prepaid return label. There have been plenty of lengthy apologies, but no satisfactory resolution. I have spent far too much time repeating the same concerns and am now referring the matter to my bank. Based on the quality of the items I received and the way my complaint has been handled, I would not buy from Wilson & Carter again.

Ordered a coat...lots of updates to say about the delivery which werent all needed . It arrived and the material was like tarpaulin to touch and about 3 sizes smaller than the 12-14 (L)that I ordered. Have tried to find out how to do return but there is no reply to their Easy returns process . Feels like a total scam and will in future be far more suspicious of a company that tries to make themselves legitimate by adding London to their name.

I would give zero stars if that were possible, but unfortunately one star is the lowest rating available. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. The wrong shoe size was sent, resolving the issue took far too many messages, and I had to repeatedly explain my rights as a customer before receiving the full refund. The customer service process was unnecessarily frustrating and time-consuming. One star is more than this experience deserves.

Sadly, like others, I had a terrible experience with this company. I waited 4 weeks for my order and then gave up and asked for a refund which never came. I had to work very, very hard to eventually get my money back. Don't order from this company.

This is the worst company i have ever ordered from. Goods have never arrived in the 3 months since ordering, requested a refund several times to be told items gave been reshipped ( not what i requested) still never arrived and wont give refund. Don't waste your money, don't orderer from here .

Wilson and Carter do not deserve 1 star but it’s the lowest grade available. Be wise and avoid purchasing anything from this Chinese company. They advertise they are based in London but the rubbish they send is from China and returns go back to China. They will offer you 15% refund despite the goods received differing materially from that advertisement in its sizing, quality and overall appearance. After numerous lengthy emails to and from them and they refusing a full refund I had to contact my credit card company and apply the chargeback process . Wilson and Carter are ripping people off…It’s a scam!

I purchased two pairs of shorts based on the photos and size information on their website. The website says 'You can return your order within 30 days of receiving it.' As all the other reviews have said, poor quality of materials. The items were not the actual size I ordered and were way too small although the tag stated it was correct. I measured the waste using a tailors tape and they were 5 inches smaller than should be. I was offered replacement items for a shipping and process fee of £8 per item! Declined this offer and asked for return and full refund. Alternative offer of replacement and keep original for free, or accept a 15% cashback refund. They are designed to give you closure quickly and without unnecessary inconvenience.' They are a scam website and have been reported to NCSC
