Considering the way our food systems have been going in the recent decades, and the way of factory farms... this is the return to animal agriculture as it should be. Not only is buffalo the indigenous species in North America, this company's commitment to grassland restoration, humanely raised animals with field kill and convenient slaughter is as good as it gets. The taste speaks for itself, but the underlying principles is what makes me a return customer and ardent supporter.

I have never had anything other than excellent service from Wild Idea. I'm always surprised at how quickly I receive large orders. Everything is packed satisfactorily and arrives frozen, as it should be. Every cut of meat I've ever tried had been delicious, and I'm now familiar with amazing delicacies that I might not have encountered if not for Wild Idea. They have a wonderfully vision that I support and feel good buying from their company. They're the only company I buy bison meat from, period. I trust them and love their product.

I'm so happy with the taste of the bison compared to the grass fed beef I had been buying. It's sweet with a slightly mineral tang that I really like. The fact that the animals are completely grass fed and field harvested along with the fact that bison and grassland just go together makes me feel really comfortable about supporting this company. I've made 3 or 4 orders to date and the service has been impeccable on every one.

Bison meat is a great alternative to beef. It's similar is texture, is more nutritious . There is less fat and calories. More importantly, Bison are grass-fed, allowed to roam, and are not given hormones, antibiotics and other chemicals.

This is the BEST liver I have ever tasted. . .Try it. . .you'll LOVE it ! A little Organic coconut oil in the frying pan, coat the liver with salt and peppered flour,then quickly sear the liver on both sides. (don't overcook) Turn the heat down to low, add two or three tablespoons of homemade chili sauce, cover with water and simmer until sauce & flour are thickened. Wow ! Yummy ! My "mama" knew how to cook it & my "daddy" loved it. . .like I said. . .YUMMY !

I have to tell you that I am world known for my work with saving reptiles, but Wild Idea is so far past what I could ever imagined.... The work, the pain, the stress...
