Wild Idea Buffalo CoReviews of wildideabuffalo.com

Let me be VERY clear. We have LOVED [most] everything we have received from Wild Idea and fully intend to continue to order. However, I removed a star due to the fact that Wild Idea unfortunately still uses pork casings for their brats and beef casings for their jerky sticks. The entire reason for us researching and deciding to purchase from Wild Idea is to to avoid supporting inhumane and unsustainable farming practices. When I contacted Wild Idea they were VERY prompt and responsive. They assured me that all of the casings they use are organic. Unfortunately, organic does not necessarily assure humane or sustainable farming practices. I find this contradictory. We will continue to order and support, just not the brats or jerky sticks.

Item shipped quickly , tried the jerky was very good haven't tried the steaks yet do to winter but everything looks great.

My preferred source, product always arrives in a timely fashion. Only downside is price point, it is an expensive product.

I have only had time to try the bison heart and it is very good, the shipment arrived a day later than the company said but was frozen solid, one nordic ice pack leaked after it thawed, aside from that I am quite happy with it and I have recommended this company to several others.

All items came well frozen. The ground buffalo is great, but the Buffalo Bresaola was just like eating a cup of salt, way to salty. I will not buy the Bresaola again. Otherwise good quality products for the money.

Simple sm order,,,placed shipped and recv'd in timely manner,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and the chili was excellent.

Will definitely order again

The bison was excellent. Used it in a meal I prepared an both my wife an I enjoyed it..It wasn't gamey at all..very good taste..Will most likely order more at a later date.
