very disappointed
meat was bad, packets were punctured and bled out. Steaks tasted sour
Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

We received the meat and it was defrosted. Could not consume in a week and gave to friends. We were disappointed in the delivery. We have ordered from Blackwing and vital choice and our items have always arrived completely frozen. Will not order again.

We would never order from them again. Ordered 4 received 3 ribeyes. They were tiny and tough.

Meat arriver half frozen. Half thawed few things were not even cold to the touch also the ad said 2lbs of free hamburger or ground meat which was nowhere to be found. The rest of the hamburger meat came frozen all together not individually wrapped like the picture showed but that is just a preference not an issue

Hi Sandra, We appreciate your feedback on your recent purchase and apologize you were not 100% satisfied. Thawing may occur during transit but it is completely safe to refreeze the items. During checkout there is a box to enter discounts and promo codes in order for us to receive them. Our 5 pound ground comes in one solid package but we do offer 3x1 or 4x1 patties. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and hope we can make it right for you! Very Best- Cori

I sent Wild Idea bison burgers to my brother in law (who is a chef) as a birthday gift. They were very disappointed as they were nothing more than an expensive frozen burger, dried out with no taste. Sadly I will not use your company again.

The total (including shipping) for 2.5 lbs. of product was $69.50 (works out to $27.80 per pound). The ad said that they would include 2 lbs. of ground buffalo at no extra cost by entering a code at check out. There was never anywhere on the website to enter the code.

Gregory- We appreciate your feedback! For future reference, promo codes must be entered during check out as that is the only way we know you have received a special offer. During the check out process on both steps 1 and 2 on the right hand side of the page under "Order Summary" you will see "Have a discount code? Click here to enter it >" Per our email correspondence I am still more than happy to include the 2 free Premium Ground Buffalo in your next order. And please know that your contributions are helping restore the Great Plains one bite at a time! Very Best- The WIB Crew

two things.....first off, you sent this questionnaire to me - I was the purchaser of the gift to Steve Protz. Second......the gift has not yet been received by him...... I have ordered in the past with no problems.....I am giving only one star today as none of this applies and I am hoping that one star will get someone's attention.

Pamela- Per your request to ship closer to Christmas, we moved the delivery date back to December 17th as discussed. We apologize that you were asked to give us a review being that the order was not going to you! We hope that Steve was very pleased with not only your thoughtfulness in the gift but also with the product itself. Wishing you a lovely Holiday Season and prosperous New Year! -The WIB Crew
