Wild Idea Buffalo is unlike any other meat company. We began with a vision of actually improving the eco-system of the Great Plains. Our buffalo are raised on the wide open spaces of South Dakota where they eat only the native grasses beneath their feet. They spend their whole lives roaming freely on thousands of acres, and never see a feedlot or slaughterhouse. The result is better lives for the bison, the restoration of over 100,000 acres of the prairie, and sweet, delicious red meat that is actually good for you. Not such a wild idea after all!

I quite eating beef about 15 years ago because of the chemicals and feed they pump into cattle. Bison at Wild Idea is the best alternative available. The meat is always delicious and what a variety :-) Wild Idea ships their items quickly, and they are packed so nicely! When you call Wild Idea, the people are always super friendly and accommodating. Thanks Wild Idea. Merry Christmas!

This was my first time ordering from Wild Idea, and I liked the variety of packages available, the quantities seemed about right, the ordering process was simple, and the meat came quickly. It was fast, easy, and the first tasting was delicious!

I had ordered bison from a couple of other online retailers (they were a little cheaper...cheaper being the key word); the products they offered were just a little too gamey for me, just seemed off. I love the quality of the product they offer and the manner in which it is harvested. The taste is second to none. Thanks for a short cut free product my entire family loves.

Hands down one of the most rewarding, efficient and quality online buying experiences I've ever had. My order was prompt, well handled and the follow up was fantastic. Mind you the product is wonderful as well! Their bison beats any store bought bison I have encountered in Washington State. Very happy Customer!

My husband and I have ordered from Wild Idea for about a year or so now and they are a company I'm proud to support. Not only is their product worth every penny (everything is mouth watering delicious!!) but the methods they use to both raise/sustain and then slaughter their bison are methods I want my money to support. I highly recommend them!!!
