Wild Idea Buffalo CoReviews of wildideabuffalo.com

I have long loved the product provided by WIB, first on principal and then on TASTE! While I often cannot afford a bulk order and simply purchase ground a pound at a time from my local grocer, I had the opportunity to spend significantly more this time and was pleasantly surprised at the wide selection offered at very reasonable rates. Navigating the website was quick and easy, and the entire process from "confirmation email" to picking up my product was straightforward. Every interaction I had with staff, whether digitally, over the phone, or in person was positive, friendly and light hearted. Staff attended to my every need, even offering recipes for the items I had little experience preparing. I will always recommend Wild Idea Buffalo product to anyone I come into contact with. In addition, I will eat almost no meat unless it was treated in much the same way. Thank you all for leading us to a healthier, happier future on a healthier, happier, planet.

I've been ordering from Wild Idea since I first read about them in Bon Appetit Magazine, all those years ago. That's a long time. I hope there are many many more years of success, continued expansion, good food, and prairie restoration.

del. on time & follow up on the order was great

Wild Idea Team, I just received the order below (see bottom of email) and it is very disappointing. The package came a full 24 hours late and once opened the entire box was completely thawed to include the ice packs. The package was full of blood which was dispersed throughout the box and over all the items. In fact, the only items that had a good vacuum seal were the shanks and burgers. All the other items had no vacuum on the packaging and were dripping blood. Bottom line, I am fearful of eating any of the product due to temps above 40 degrees. Not to mention it is unsafe to re-freeze completely thawed meats that were previously frozen. In my previous experience with your company I have never received a package in this shape. They have always been frosty cold and ready to re-freeze. Attached are pictures of this order that clearly display its condition, particularly the lack of frost or vacuum seal. This was supposed to be a nice Fathers Day gift for me and my wife dads. Instead we have an unsafe mess. I would like for you to either reshipped a new package or refund my order. Your honest consideration of this request would be greatly appreciated. Thanks from a loyal customer, V/R Joseph Bruette Follow up: The company did agree to replace or refund my purchase. It is refreshing to know Wild Idea has the integrity to stand behind their product and protect consumers.

This is the best Salami that I have ever tasted!! The food arrived on time like it was promised and it was not thawed out even in the 90+ degree hot Texas weather. I definitely will be ordering more again ,very soon

My whole family loves Wild Idea Buffalo meat. We bought a hind quarter and two steak bundles. We had been given a sampler as a gift; so we knew the quality of the meat. Read O'Brien's book. It is important to me to know that the buffalo are raise on grass, with no hormones or other drugs, that the buffalo range free and are not shoved into a feed yard or shocked by being a slaughter house.

I was VERY unhappy with the taste and consistency of the burger. Wish I had NOT ordered so many. There are three of us an NO one liked them. We buy grass fed buffalo all the time and love it. Not sure what is wrong with these burgers but the rest will go to trash. It is a real shame because of the cost and I MUST eat grass fed grass finished everything I can get. So to waste money makes it taste even worse. Everything else I have ordered from you has been AWESOME!

Very easy order process. It was shipped promptly and still frozen when it arrived. Everything we ordered tasted great! We will be ordering more in the near future. I've already recommended Wild Idea Buffalo to others. Keep up the great work! Thanks!!
