My order ended up being 100 euros more…
My order ended up being 100 euros more expensive because of unannounced import costs. I felt so deceived.. On top of this, when my order arrived, one item was missing plus the wig itself was really disappointing. Its hair density was rather poor, you could actually see through its scalp. I now own a very expensive bad quality wig that I won't wear. Customer service wise, someone called Sophia Suleman (Beauty and Hair) kept replying to my complaints with copy and paste emails. Apparently the info on extra import costs is stated in their FAQs section but nowhere else. She insisted they had it in red and bold as I checked out. I can guarantee that wasn't the case. I even went and placed a second order to double check this fact. This company has very good marketing (their online store and YouTube channel are great) but in reality, they are full of sh**. Do not be fooled. Do not buy from them, specially from out of the States 😠
Response from Wigs.com – The Wig Experts™Jan 15, 2020
We are very sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with your experience or the piece you received. The taxes/duties are a fee due to/within your country (not paid to Wigs.com) when ordering outside of the U.S. Unfortunately, this is not something we can do anything about. We do offer sales and discounts (which you received) in the hopes to help with these costs. It is stated on our site under policies/shipping&handling as well as it does appear in bold red when you go to checkout (on a computer & laptop). If you placed an order on a mobile device or ipad it would still appear (when you don't hide the full order). Our records also indicate we refunded you for the comb. In regards to the Upstage piece you ordered that is a very popular piece which is hand tied therefore, when you look at the base of the piece it is meant to look like your own scalp. We appreciate your feedback and apologize that you weren't satisfied.
