Do not buy from this company. I have been a user for many years. Have two-lifetime licenses. After my hard drive crash, tried to reinstall on a new drive. Activation key doesn’t work. It is more than 2 months as I am trying to get tech support. The phone number doesn't work. Nobody returns messages. Tickets left unassigned, with automated emails threatening to close the ticket after 72 hours. Shame. Good software but none existing support. Reputation is in a gutter.

Very useful tool to use on daily

Do not purchase from this company! Once you purchase the software you can not get in touch with anyone for support. I have not been able to get access to this application since I purchased it last month and have made 9 attempts to contact them. No one answers the 800 sales number or responds to messages. When you open a support ticket, it goes unanswered and unresolved. They only send you an automated response saying they will close your dispute because they have not heard back from you. I've just opened a case with Paypal to try and get my money back - hopefully, it will get resolved this way.

Company deliberately misleads by selling a lifetime license which runs out. Support doesn't respond with a new activation code or any support at all, they don't provide a phone number either. This is a nightmare for any software purchasing experience. First, the software does not work as they advertise. Keeps getting error and the work is so poor that it is actually better working with MS word default corrections. Well I assumed that I wasted my $119. The problem gets worse. I was charged $119 for extension of yearly subscription for 2019-2020. I have never authorized this. Went to the website. It is impossible to ask for cancelation/ refund or talk to anyone over the faulty billing and charge. The website do not allow for deletion of my credit card info. Sent email to customer service and left voice mail and sent email to billing but no response. I read some reviews of their customer website and a lot of people believe that this is a scam. Well, customer service. If you are reading this, please process my refund as I am very upset about this unauthorized charge. Please send me any contact that actually works by replying this post.

I have used White Smoke for many years. It is a very effective program to check all your documents, including emails and online submissions before you send them. Before I used WS, I would later review something I sent, and would be embarrassed, of some typos or poor grammar usage. I have also recommended this program to many of my family and friends. All who have purchased it, have been very glad they did. I highly recommend you try it.

---- UPDATE: they did not wanted to refund me in any way, so in the end the srsly amazing stuff at PayPal sorted things out and forced them to refund me. I invested at Grammarly, five stars. ---- My advice is: do not buy!!!! The software does not work the way it should. It is buggy, it mixes the text itself ... in short, it does not work well. I kindly asked for a refund, followed all the instructions and explained the reason for my decision. I also provided a screenshot of the error screen. No answer for two days. None. I will start the process with PayPal and also with my credit card company. I want my money back! I bought the lifetime white smoke and now they say my code have expired and they don't respond to your emails and don't answer the phone.
