Location not precise enough

I've had my whistle for about an year now and I really like it. We got it because my dog is an escape artist. There is a slight delay of the notification (~4 minutes) when he leaves the whistle zone but the tracking is really accurate. We've checked the location multiple times when we're out and about to see how accurate it is. The battery lasts a long time so you don't have to worry about charging it all the time. It's a really great product!

We adopted a rescue dog that had been in foster care for over 1 1/2 years. We live in the country and he goes to work at the golf course with my husband daily. For the first couple of years he would roam occasionally and my anxiety would go through the roof when he would disappear for hours and eventually someone would call, because our number was on his tag. After using Whistle, he sticks much closer to home and his roamings are few and far between, I credit this to being able to set boundaries now. We can go after him immediately and not let him get away with a lengthy roam. I love this product and value the additional help in keeping our boy safe!

We love our Whistle! The GPS tracker provides peace of mind, and the activity tracker helps us make sure our pup is getting enough exercise. Amazing product and company!

A full charge seems to last about 3 days. If my dog takes off on day 2 1/2, I only have 1/2 day to retrieve him. You get my point. So to battle this, I have to charge to full on a daily basis which is a pain. I love the idea of begin able to track via GPS and it would be nice to have a charge hold for a week so that I only have to charge every 3 or 4 days.

Pin points very close to where the dog is standing. Notifications that dog is out of his area to my phone seems to work well. No complains.

I have had Whistle for over a year on my two year old Beagle Mix and about two months on my Australian Shepherd Puppy. I love Whistle and the peace of mind it gives me. My older dog is a runner and this has helped us find him in no time several times. The app is easy to use and you receive notifications via text, app, or email within three minutes like they advertise. My only issue with it is that when we get into Northern Wisconsin we get no service by the cabin, so his Whistle essentially shuts down. It dies right away and doesn't transmit his location or activity. We've even brought the base along and it hasn't combated the problem much. If you live out in the city or country this is perfect.. we've had great luck with both areas. However, the heavily wooded northwoods is a bit of a problem.

Very happy with product . While not a flawless system I am still very happy with it . It gets the job done and gives me great peace of mind knowing I have the ability to know where dog is at all times
