It's a great product! Still trying to get used to using the app, but so far I like being able to know where my dog is.

Great products, communication and products.

I needed a device that could locate my GSD on demand within the acreage that I live on. We have excellent AT&T coverage and good WiFi at the house. The device works very well and also provides a number of statistical facts about the dogs routine that is fun and interesting. The only possible issue with the device is that it can take a minute or more to locate the pet when you click on a refresh of location. The is more annoying than a problem because when you order the refresh it is likely because you really want to locate the pet. Overall, the Whistle 3 works great. The app is very usable, the device is small, the battery life is good (if you have WiFi where the dog spends most of its time), and the information provided to you about the dog is both useful and fun.

It works-but has some bugs. I have a bloodhound who manages to escape my yard whenever the opportunity arises and someone leaves the gate ajar. I need the Whistle tracker to help me find him before he gets hit by a car. Unfortunately the battery only lasts for two days so you have to be very diligent about charging the tracker very frequently. The worst part is the random, FALSE, messages that my dog is out of the yard, when he isn't. My heart jumps into panic mode when I get a text at night that he has escaped, only to find that he is sleeping on the same room as me. Could be better.

Absolute waste of time. Can't set it up, wasted hours with tech support to no solution.
