Whistle is a dog lifesaver. We have had them for at least 10 years for our 4 huskies. They wander and we were able to find them quickly and bring them back home. We now have an Akita and if she gets loose we will be able to find her too.

My rescue podenco is a bit of a flight risk. This tracker came recommended from the rescue we adopted her from, and I cannot say enough about how much it's done for my peace of mind. The app is amazing, pinpoints exact locations, alerts us anytime she's outside of our "home zone" (which is thankfully only when she's out for walks) and monitors her ideal daily activity level. If your dog is as active as mine, I'd recommend going ahead and ordering a couple of the loop attachments for the inevitable wear and tear.

I was very satisfied with the online live chat with the Whistle crew. I lost my older Whistle, and wanted to see if they could locate it for me. Unfortunately, the battery was dead and they couldn't locate it. My questions were answered and recommendations were made to get my dog protected from getting lost in the future.

Initially had an issue with the whistle go explore, but their customer service is top notch and not only helped in replacing it, but offered a collar to help keep the whistle attached. This is a must have item if you have an active dog. Not only is it great to see just how many miles they run in a day, but it also helps me regulate their food based off an estimate on the calories they burned. Some huskies that come over do 25+ miles a day and need the extra food. Couldn't be happier with Whistle and all the cool features it offers.

I love my whistles. I have two at present. I just purchased the newest model for my new dog, and the clasp released the whistle within the first 24 hours of being attached to the collar. I was able to find the whistle out in my yard, by wandering around and looking for the light that I have recently turned on. So that was a good thing. I then changed to the velcro attachment and that has worked much better, but I am not sure for how long, given long-haired dogs. The more permanent whistle attachment let go with the slightest bump. imagine if my dog had been swimming? So I was really lucky, and I contacted whistle and they are going to replace the attachment.
