We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced due to the booking issue for your stay in Puerto Vallarta. As a travel agent, we understand that you have high standards for travel arrangements, and it’s clear that in this instance, we did not meet those expectations. We want to acknowledge that there was a system error on the part of our hosting partner, which unfortunately led to the double booking of the property you had selected. While the host did offer an alternative nearby property that was comparable, we understand that this change may not have been suitable for your needs. Upon learning of this situation per your outreach to our support team, we aimed to offer immediate assistance by proposing a full refund, and we deeply regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused. We take full responsibility for ensuring that our partners maintain accurate and reliable booking systems and are taking steps to prevent such occurrences in the future. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and assure you that we are dedicated to improving our services. Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable booking experience, and we are committed to making necessary improvements based on our customers' feedback. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

We sincerely apologize for the recent experience you faced with your booking, which is in reference to the same booking as Cheryl's (below). We understand the frustration and inconvenience caused by the sudden change in pricing just days before your scheduled check-in. As mentioned below, this unfortunate situation stemmed from a technical error in our system that incorrectly listed your rental price. Upon discovering this discrepancy, we reached out as promptly as possible to offer alternative solutions. We recognize that the options provided, including the adjustment to the correct price, were not ideal and have caused significant distress. Please know that this is not a common practice or trend at Whimstay. We are committed to ensuring transparent and fair pricing for all our guests. Incidents like this are rare but highlight areas where we need to improve our systems and communication processes. We are taking steps to address these issues internally and with our property partners to prevent such occurrences in the future. Our goal is to provide a seamless and enjoyable booking experience, and we regret that we fell short in this instance. We value your feedback, as it plays a crucial role in helping us enhance our services. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust in Whimstay.

Dear Cheryl, We are genuinely sorry to hear about your recent experience with Whimstay, and we understand your disappointment and frustration regarding the cancellation of your New Year's Eve weekend booking. We want to clarify that the issue with your booking arose due to a pricing discrepancy in our system, which was a technical error outside of our immediate control. We acknowledge that you had confirmed the price over a call with our team member, Elizabeth, before proceeding with your booking. This incident points to a need for us to improve our system's accuracy and ensure such errors are avoided in the future. In terms of the assistance offered, we understand that our options did not meet your expectations. We aimed to provide immediate solutions within our capacity, but regrettably, these were not sufficient in your case. We are continuously working on enhancing our communication and response strategies to better support our guests in similar situations. Regarding the conflicting information from Heavenly Host, we are taking steps to address and rectify these communication gaps between our team and our property partners to prevent such occurrences. We take your feedback seriously, and it is crucial in helping us improve our service. While we regret that this incident has affected your view of our business ethics, we hope you understand that our intent is always to provide the best possible service to our guests. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope to have the opportunity to restore your confidence in our service in the future.
