Lower price on rental, friendly helpful customer support, clunky communication
I appreciate that I think this platform may offer lower prices than other room share sites, and I will say, both times I spoke to a representative they were extremely kind and friendly. The system itself is a bit clunky however, I never knew if I was emailing my host or whimstay or both, due to there not being an app it was all through email too, and as we all know emails can be missed, sent to spam. I would likely use the platform again, but it’s definitely not without its bugs to work out.

Rental was great, Whimstay's role lacking
I loved our rental, and grateful for a platform like this. My issue is that 1. I never received information about check in (leasing agent said they don't receive renter emails), 2. When I contacted Whimstay on morning of rental, chat and call states they were not available. I didn't hear back for several hours. I ended up reaching the leasing agent w/o issue, but if I did have an issue Whimstay was MIA.

Most hosts send check-in information 24-48 hours before check-in, and we'd love to get more info from you about what happened so we can follow up with the host and ensure they're sending everything guests need in a timely manner. We provide contact info to both host and guest immediately upon booking, so it sounds like there may have been a miscommunication on the host's end about receiving emails. When you reached out on the morning of check-in, we provided your host's contact details right away via chat, which is typically the fastest path to resolution on check-in day. You sent us another message shortly after saying to disregard your earlier request for help since you were able to connect with your host using the contact info provided and resolve the issue. We responded to make sure you had everything you needed and to let you know we're here if anything came up. Good, but
Location was great, clean and views were wonderful. I gave it 3 stars because it seriously needs a new mattress. It didn’t make for restful nights.

This home needs a deep cleaning
This home needs a deep cleaning, we expected it to be clean and pool area clean, it was not ready to use, we spent a lot of time cleaning. Beds were comfortable, just needs more supplies(very few pan) not equipped for a comfortable stay

Cleaning fee charged twice with no resource for refund
I was charged twice for cleaning even though I stayed in the house 2 days in a row. When I asked if one of the cleaning fees could be removed, I was told no because I made the reservations in two separate reservations. Seems like a very negative flaw . . . when I asked about providing feedback, was told it wasn't available. Looks like it is now but the person who wouldn't refund the second cleaning fee shouldn't be represented.

Carriage House, Park City
Plenty of emails and texts with helpful info, but none of them provided the code needed to get into the building. Luckily a resident let us in the first day and told us the building code. We were provided the room code prior to arrival so that part was okay.
