Phoenix West Unit 908 - CONDO PROS/CONS 1. Great location, no wait for elevators 2. Loved the lazy river 3. Polite staff 4. Liked the covered parking 5. Clean linens/Bathrooms 6. Extra blankets & enough pillows CONS- 1. Sink in master bath was stopped up. Stopper wouldn’t come up but it was repaired 2 days later. 2. Television is not coming on in the living room. Maintenance took care of it a day later. 3. Bowl in cabinet not clean (pic below) 4. Chairs & Sofa in Living room are filthy. They could easily be cleaned with a steam cleaner. 5. Plug for hairdryer in Master Bath doesn’t work. GFI buttons pushed multiple times. 6. Toilet running in bathroom (Queen-first on left) 7. Refrigerator & Freezer not cold. Ice Cream & Popsicles wouldn’t freeze. Lost food! Nearly had ice in either the freezer or Ice Maker. 8. Broken lounge chair on porch, fabric split. 9. Sheets on the king size bed in secondary king room keep coming off the corners 10. Fan in Living Room would NEVER come on. Light worked but no fan 11. Chair broken in dining room. Someone fell when she sat on it an almost hurt herself 12. Missing some basic kitchen items (cookie sheet, residual salt/pepper)

I loved the location of this house. It's on a dirt road by the river. It is close to conveniences but was in a beautiful, country setting. Things to be aware of: the road is used by lots of bikers, runners and walkers and also is a narrow, bumpy road. Most people seemed to drive for the situation, but others flew through. I ran one morning and took several walks. We really enjoyed visiting local farm stands, general stores, restaurants and taking in all of the scenery. I hope to visit the area again.

There were issues with HVAC and fruit flies. Owner was in constant contact to provide solutions the entire stay.

We found the cabin itself to be very nice except for the basement was quite musty. It probably should have been aired out or a dehumidifier installed. The grass was high and shaggy. The fire pit patio was very nice but there was no firewood left to burn in the pit.

Customer service at Whimstay was top notch. Our host was not the easiest to deal with however Whimstay was great to deal with.
