My unit has audio but no video.

So far, dealing with Wemax has been good. I bought a projector (Wemax Nova 4k) and an ALR screen (100 inches) while there was a 48-hour flash sale on them (50+% off) and the items arrived, as they said they would, in a couple of days. The packaging was top notch, as is the quality of the products. When logging in to certain apps, I was informed, by email, that the login was on a Xiaomi device. That brings me to one of the caveats of the company: a bit of false advertising. For example, they claimed that the reviewer on TechRadar gave the Nova a 5 star rating. Not true. He did say some very nice things about the product, but did not give it 5 stars. So take their advertised ratings with a pinch of salt and do a little more research. Were it not for this, I would have given the company 5 stars. All that said, I repeat: their products are very good value-buys, especially when on sale. The top end ones do spell "classy".

Update #3: Customer service/after sales team did a satisfactory job in resolving my issue. They sent a new screen and the appropriate parts of the frame. Update #2: CS response received. Resolution in progress. Updated to 3 stars as they did respond and execute initial phase of resolution. Will update. Update following WeMax reply: Email re-sent to CS, but still no response. Will updating accordingly. Ordered a screen that was defective upon arrival. Spoke with CS initially for resolution, and they were very prompt in their response. After I (reluctantly) agreed to their proposed solution, they are no longer responding to e-mails or providing any updates. My product was faulty (screen was scratched, etc). Others may have received good versions. Regardless, if CS is overseas and abruptly severs communications, then it may be wise to take your business elsewhere (preferably with better CS and reliable products). Will update accordingly should WeMax decide to act after time of writing this review.

Ive been writing and contacting for a return label for a falsly advertised item. No one is helping me.

I purchased a screen and portable charger. Unfortunately, according to WeMax, the product was lost in the mail and a shipping issue. Even though WeMax created a shipping label, it was never to the shipper. The customer service was not helpful at in resolving the issue. They would not refund my payment, and wanted to have me just get another one shipped out. I did not trust it, and they were very difficult in returning my money. I had to eventually reach out to my payment in order for them to investigate and in order to resolve and return my money. It’s one thing to have a shipping issue, but it’s very bad for a company to make clearing the issue extremely difficult.

The images made it look like this could run from a battery bank (like a cell phone). However it requires 30W of power and I can't find a battery that does this. Show me the battery and this will be upgraded.

Very clear with any question, and quick to respond. definitely deserve a 5 star.

Very good compact projector.
