Great experience I have

I used Wellfound's resume, cover letter and job finding services. The resume and cover letter rewrite were great. It was fast and efficient. It reflected the current roles and needs in the market.

I am using Wellfound since it was AngelList. I like the site and the way user can navigate and apply for the positions. They have good coverage for the startups globally. its easy to set up and I referred to many of my friends and colleagues and they were able to find the job successfully. Few areas are still need improvements for example some time I received message from perspective employer and even I reply them I never get the response back so site can send them a notification that this person is waiting for your response. Another issue is same person can not apply for different job profile or location bound for example if a user A set profile as QA but also qualify for UAT tester or QA Manager position he can't apply it gives error message that your profile doesn't match with the job profile. same apply for the location.

Detailed and thorough job has been done with my resume and I’m excited to see what the rest will look like.

I could never go past activating my account. It keeps bouncing me back when I am filling the job preferences related to the mandatory field "US work authorization": no matter what you choose, it never goes through. A very disappointing starting experience. Moving on. Update: the situation was solved and it was partly my mistake for having misdigited the email address for the registration. The user support staff was very polite and efficient in dealing with the matter.

Just a disgrace of a service. First of all I had to wait nearly 45 days for them to write me a new cover letter and resume. How does something like that take so long? Maybe because it's run by idiots. They didn’t even fully fulfill that part of the task because they promised multiple variations and didn’t provide them till a week after I had asked about them again. IDK what the hell happened with the job application stuff but they did absolutely nothing for me. They didn’t even read the job descriptions half the time. They were giving me roles that I would never be able to qualify for. They were giving me roles that asked me to speak languages I never have. They were giving me roles that were located no where near where I wanted to be. I dont even know what happened with the application process because I never got a single interview. Screw these guys.

Wellfound is a great platform to find jobs online, remote, hybrid, and in-office. I especially like the Remote Tab. I can easily fill out an application, and it helps immensely to be featured based on your skills!

I have been using this site for several years. I’ve gotten several amazing jobs on the site and have even posted jobs with them. It’s always one of my top recommended job sites!
