Feeling suspicious of their legitimacy
I received an email notice about a subscription renewal and I called the number to let them know that I did not want to renew and the woman on the phone said someone would reach out but she was just from the 'overflow' department and had no authority to cancel the renewal for me. I have followed up with an email also but nothing but an auto reply. Rest assured I'll be disputing it with the credit card company if they make a charge but reputable companies don't make it this hard to cancel and I could not find evidence in my original order confirmation that I had agreed to a recurring subscription that was going to go 39.00 first year to over triple the second year. This is not good tactics and makes me wonder what else may be less than ethical about them.
