I was 8 minutes late for my appointment at the Pentagon City location. I was informed by the store clerk that the optometrist would not see me because I was late and I had not completed the pre check in form. I explained to the store clerk that I was not a new patient. He informed me that the optometrist still denied to see me. Fortunately, there is a Visionwork in the mall on the upper level. I was seen within 5 minutes of walking in without an appointment. I would never book an appointment with the Pentagon City location. Unbelievable.

RUN away from this horrible company! Ordered product on 4/10/2024 - (3) pairs of glasses for over $1,000. Guaranteed delivery within 7 business days. Day 7 today. Had to call the company to find out there was manufacturing defect in (2) pairs. They have no idea when they will deliver these (2) pairs now even though they are holding my money. Asked them why they would not expedite the manufacturing and put my defective glasses ahead of other orders???? The Customer Service Manager to me: "Because you should be GLAD we held your order and didn't ship defective glasses. YOUR order is just one of thousands. We make 98% of glasses correctly. YOUR order is just a 'perfect storm' so just be glad we didn't ship them." Seriously? What the Living F*, Warby Parker?! Cancelled my order and returned all the the products. HORRRIBLE COMPANY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I should have Goggled Warby this morning before thinking my experience in the Georgetown Wash DC store was the norm . . . . turns out nope ! ~ 6 mos ago I was in Georgetown shopping with my daughter. Turned into a bright shiny day (I left my sunglasses at home in Richmond). I saw Warby store, jumped in found a pair, bought them. The very helpful associate asked if I wanted the glasses fitted with my prescription; I declined as I needed to get on the road before traffic kicked in. I have worn the Warbys only a couple of times as I regularly wear my prescription sunglasses. Just had my annual eye exam, figured it was time to get the prescription added to my Warbys as they are comfortable. I browsed their website and see the opportunity to have glasses in RX for ~ $ 90 I take my Warbys to the new store in Short Pump mall. The woman at the desk tells me their store was not allowed to put RX lens in my Warby frames. So I guess it’s all about the $$$$$$. They had people helping fit glasses and their optician was on-site. So my takeaway is they’ll gladly fit lens in a brand new pair of frames but if they didn’t make the sale I guess it’s no. Anyway I left my glasses at the counter told them to toss ‘em in the trash. I won’t darken another Warby door again.

I purchased for the first time from WP a new set of progressive lenses last year. They cost almost $500 and were the worst pair of glasses ever. The lower reading portion on the bottom of the lens was so tiny making them unusable for reading. The store provided no satisfaction. Glasses purchased from Googles4U were substantially less in price and provided a better reading field. I was told by the WP salesperson that my lens choice should have been a larger lens size to allow for more space in the lower area. I'm never going back.

Does not include vertical measurements in dimensions in spite of multiple requests over a decade. If you write for specifics, they reply but it wastes too much time for consumers and presumably for WP.

Lie about Storage of Your Financial Data, Very Disorganized. They write on their website that they don't store your credit card information, but clearly they do because I had an order attached to a credit card I canceled a long time ago and they automatically defaulted to this payment method online. They also lost my updated payment information, generating many emails and attempted charges to a canceled card. When I specifically asked whether or not they store your credit card information, how it can be deleted and why they do it (where can I delete it), they said they don't. Then the person on the call center said they may have it from an old order. I received 6-7 emails from them that were going back and forth about small things to up-sell and they obviously are a combination of automated garbage and semi-personalized information. They sent something requesting an inter-pupillary distance, wanted a photo, then said they don't need it. Then said later they did but somehow the photo is gone. I don't trust anything they are doing. They reflect incompetence clinically, financially, and logistically. They should not be trusted with any payment information and lie about storing it. Really below any acceptable standard.

I scratched just one lens. The staff at WP seemed to have trouble with the simple math calculations on how much it would cost me. I was given a completely different cost than what I was given on the phone yesterday. Also, I was told that they don’t replace just one lens. The cost was much higher than Costco because they will replace just one lens and Costco’s cost was quite cheaper. Costco will replace lens from other venders. Very disappointed at WP, and I will not use them again. WP, in my opinion deserves their low ratings.

After watching your interview with the CEO of Warby Parker I gave them a try. WHAT A MISTAKE! MY ORDER IS NOW 3 WEEKS PLUS OLD. I called the company to confirm my order and the customer contact barley speaks English. When you call about the order I placed, the Company doesn’t let you talk to a live person. The recording wants to text you marching orders to get your info. BIG PROBLEM…The websites a mess as well. Logging in is a huge issue. Older people don’t text and hate doing business like that. It took 4 tries to get through to someone live. VERY SAD!!!
