Carelessness and Apathy. Pathetic
I had scheduled my COVID-19 rapid test appointment 2 days prior at the Springfield, OH location on S Limestone St. About 40 minutes before my appointment, I missed a call from the pharmacy, but I thought it was just a confirmation call, even though I had confirmed through email the day before. When I showed up to the pharmacy to receive my test, they told me they had run out of rapid tests the night before, and that they had tried to contact, through a phone call, everyone who had a scheduled appointment. They did not send me a text. They did not send me an email. They did not even leave a voicemail. Just one call. They could have done a much better job on reaching out to people with scheduled appointments. They had even sent me an appointment reminder email the morning of my appointment (my appointment was at noon). I know that the rapid tests are in high demand right now, but I can't believe that it is that difficult for pharmacies to count their inventory and to plan how many appointments they will be able to follow through on. In addition to missing a test today, I now have to scramble to try to find another available location for a rapid test. So thank you Walgreens for your "satisfactory" service today. 0 stars.
