It is a NIGHTMARE anytime I need to refill a prescription. They are always out of stock. Their hours suck. They have been understaffed for years now. I will be moving to a local pharmacy. Walgreens has made it VERY clear that they do NOT care about their customers and EVERY person I have talked to has the same horrible experience.

This place is bad when it comes to time. I have another drugstore I use and it don't take a whole hour for your medication to be filled! I'm truly thinking about moving all medication over to the other drugstore. I don't recommend this place to no one. They dont have enough workers to take your order! either. They need to rehire people . There are w cash restructure and only one working it. So why have 2 then!

Walgreens is great
Walgreens is great. Where else can you listen to the employee's lunch hours for over half of the contact recording? Just fantastic. Keep up the cutting edge marketing.

Terrible User Experience
Terrible UI, no order confirmation, often things don't work or work in unexpected ways, broken, difficult to navigate. This for a site that should cater to the disabled and the elderly who many need home delivery of medicines and supplies. For a 100 billion dollar company, a few teenagers could do better. This shows that Walgreens doesn't give a ***** about its customers.

Walgreens is the worse drug store in the world.
i went to the Walgreens on South Post Oak and Court Road in Houston, TX only because they are the only store that carries my favorite kettle corn. Otherwise, I stay away from this store because of the very poor customer service. It's not unusual to go to the checkout counter and there is no cashier; so yesterday, I had to walk around the store calling out for the cashier. When he finally showed up, he was very rude. I HATE WALGREENS. After reading all these bad reviews, I now see it's not just me. Poor customer service is just the culture that they cultivate.

At 7:50 PM on Friday
At 7:50 PM on Friday, September 2, 2022, I, William Bailey, a retired military officer, visited Walgreen at 5975 WEDDINGTON RD, Matthews, NC 28104 – to speak with the pharmacist. Instead of communicating with the pharmacist standing there, Wendy addressed me in a very unprofessional manner. The pharmacist refused to read my document to update my shot record for international travel on Sunday, September 2, 2022. These shots were given at Walgreen, and I was trying to get all my shots records updated on a yellow-shot record card. The team at this location does not understand that Walgren is a corporation, and we, as customers, should be able to go to any Walgreen and get the same quality of services.
Then Wendy closed the pharmacy secure windows in my face. I knocked on the door and the pharmacy, and Wendy refused to open to door to address my concern. Another employee opened the door and asked if she could help me, and I asked her what the lady’s name doing all the talking, and she said, Wendy.
I then went to the front and asked to speak with the manager. The clerk stated that the manager was in the back and said there was nothing they could do to assist me or address my concerns. This is when I came home and called customer service and wrote this letter.

Exceptional Customer Assistance
This rating is for the assistance I received from a Walgreens manager at the Austell location (4120 Austell Rd) and not necessarily for the store itself.
On July 28th, I went to the Walgreens in Mableton to purchase some at home Covid tests. They did not have the more affordable brands and so I ended up buying them (2) at $23.99 each. However, when I went to Target, I was able to purchase them for $9.99 each. As a result, I went the Austell location to return them, as it was closer to me at the time. During the process, I was asked by the associate if I wanted it back on my debit card, I answered yes but then was quickly told that she was unable to do so and she proceeded to give me a store card. I asked if this could be reversed and she said no; I suspect she had made a mistake. I even tried to speak with a manager but he also said nothing could be done.
Unsatisfied, I called Walgreens customer service and put in a complaint. I received a call from Lenzi (a Walgreens manager for this Austell location) a few days later (August 1st). At first, she said it would be difficult to do, but she still spent countless time trying to find the best solution i.e. return my money to me as I had initially wanted. In the end, after a lot of back and forth, Lenzi was able to do what others had told me could not be done. I just want to recognize and applaud her for great customer service. Instead of taking the easy way out (saying it couldn't be done without at least looking into the matter), she took her time to see how best she could assist me. I hope to encounter more managers like Lenzi. Thank you again for all your help!
