I was getting a prescription from Walgreens that cost me $304 for two 3 month refills. On the third refill, I refused to pay $199. Then I discovered Walgreens had the same product OTC for $13.49 for 4 months and the pharmacist nor his employees told me. I changed pharmacies. Then Walgreens wanted to charge my wife $140 for a prescription. We checked another pharmacy and they had it for less than $26. We are done with Walgreens charging us obscene outrageous prices.

Went into the Walgreens on North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach as soon as they opened to use the restroom before my walk. I'm a regular customer at a nearby Walgreens and an occasional one at this store. Male employee appears, accuses me of taking something, and tells me to get out. He said he saw me put something in my pocket. He's right - I put my gloves in my pocket so I could pee. Walgreens has a well-known problem with theft, but falsely accusing someone and unceremoniously kicking them out of the store is a reflection of poor training and an absence of professionalism. I'll be shopping and getting my medications at CVS from now on. Patronize Walgreens at your own risk.

Do not under any circumstances use their delivery for anything. What a nightmare. They charge your card for the full amount. Most of the items aren't available. Then they make you wait five business days to refund you the money. Chat is a joke and times out on you multiple times. You got to start over every single time the person doesn't come back on the chat. You call in and you get all kinds of different answers. This is absolutely stupid. Use Amazon or walk and go get it yourself somewhere else, anywhere else.

For the past four years I was a Walgreens Pharmacy customer, and service was very good, but over the last six months it took a significant dive. The in store and drive thru wait times went up because one person was force to tend both. The last three refills I picked up there were difficult. An employee walked away from the counter with no explanation during one pickup, and it took a few a minutes for them to find some to take over. Another time they didn't have my insurance information, and it had to be fixed while waiting for about eight minutes. There was confusion with a refill. They said it would be ready on a Saturday, but failed to mention, that due to new hours, they were closed on the weekends. I had one pill left, so I had another branch fill it. They agreed to do it because it was an emergency, but only only gave me a month's worth of a two month supply. When I asked why I was told it was all insurance covered, and that I would have to "fix it" with other branch. I was never able to as they didn't answer the phone. Was put on hold for thirty minutes before a disconnect, or it picked up and hung up. When trying to transfer to another pharmacy neither of the two branches claim to have records. The doctor had to send a new prescription to another pharmacy. It was a mess.

Walgreens Pharmacy on 278 is awful. Numerous times of terrible customer service. Rude. Not helpful. I have never been satisfied with this location of workers. Very disappointing!!

Awful customer service. Had a prescription transferred. Called three times - each time I’m assured it’s taken care of. Today I call again. Yes, we have the prescription but won’t fill it until you come in and show us your insurance card (which hasn’t changed in the 5 years I’ve been using Walmart for this Rx).
