I am enjoying my studies at Walden University. I am pursuing my doctoral degree, and the online flexibility makes it very convenient. The professors and the faculty team are great. I enjoy the wealth of resources available to meet every academic need I may have.

As a nurse with over three decades of experience, I once thought that advancing to a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) role was beyond my reach—not due to financial reasons, but because I had not engaged in academic study in some time. However, this program is thoughtfully tailored for nurses of all ages, making it both accessible and relevant. I would be remiss to suggest that the journey is without its challenges. Yet, I firmly believe that any obstacles encountered can be overcome with perseverance and support. I am grateful for the guidance of my advisor, Paul Ramsey, who has been instrumental in my progress, and the instructors have been consistently supportive, providing a nurturing learning environment. The structure of the program, including a 10-day wait for assignments and a 24-hour response time for emails and calls, fosters a productive academic experience. My assignments have been graded promptly, and my queries have been addressed with efficiency. To navigate your college experience smoothly, I recommend staying a module ahead—this proactive approach will help you avoid unnecessary stress and ensure your success.
