Initially in the doctoral program, I felt isolated/alone. Experiencing excessive waiting for responses to my questions. Limited communication from faculty. Things have improved over the last two semester.

The people at Walden have made my experience amazing! I so much appreciate the kindness and Walden staff consistently reaching out to check on me. My advisor Wayne Bonham has also been amazing. He gets a 5 out of 5. 100%. Wayne is a relentless worker and a kind and caring person about all aspects of my life. Wayne has been a crucial reason why I have a 4.0 GPA and he deserves a raise in pay as does Dr J. Thank you for allowing me to express the positive!

My experience at Walden University has been extremely positive and rewarding. The faculty have been knowledgeable, supportive, and responsive, creating a learning environment that encourages both academic and professional growth. I particularly appreciate how the coursework connects theory to real-world situations, allowing me to apply what I learn to my professional experience in healthcare and public administration. As a doctoral student, I have found the program both challenging and fulfilling. The assignments have strengthened my research, analytical, critical thinking, and leadership skills while encouraging me to consider different perspectives. I also appreciate the flexibility of the online learning environment, which allows me to balance my education with professional and personal responsibilities. Overall, I am very pleased with my decision to attend Walden University. The support I have received from faculty, the relevance of the coursework, and the opportunity to continue developing professionally have all contributed to my positive experience. I look forward to completing my Doctor of Public Administration degree and applying the knowledge and skills I have gained to make a meaningful difference in my profession and community.

From the start of the program I felt supported every step of the way. Even though life continues to happen around me, and changes are inevitable; today I am closer to my goal of completing the PhD program I started many years ago, more than ever.

The approach to Walden was the most critical moment for me among other competing institutions during admission process. My Walden Enrollment Specialist made the experience seamless and professionally orchestrated up until course registration. I have no reservation in making this review given the alignment between the initial approach and the online interface for coursework.

I love my school but in general this is such an awesome and extremely dedicated educational institution

My experience at Walden University has been rewarding and challenging. As an MSW student, I appreciate learning concepts I can apply directly to my work with individuals and families. The Skills Lab was especially valuable because it gave me opportunities to practice interviewing, active listening, and responding to client concerns. These experiences have helped me build confidence and identify areas where I can continue to grow. Balancing coursework with work and personal responsibilities takes dedication, but pursuing a career in social work makes the effort meaningful.

I believe Taylor Gardner demonstrated extraordinary collaboration by recognizing that my success at Walden depended on more than simply completing an enrollment application. When I met Taylor, I was still enrolled at another university and struggling to finish my term. The school was facing the loss of its accreditation, things were confusing, and I had fallen behind. I was also undecided about attending Walden or choosing an in-state college where I could qualify for a state scholarship. During our conversation, Taylor listened to my concerns and encouraged me in a way I hadn't experienced before. He knew this was my fifth attempt at college, yet he never made me feel like my previous struggles determined what I was capable of accomplishing. That conversation gave me the confidence to finish my term at my previous university because I wanted the opportunity to transfer those credits to Walden. Taylor also went beyond his responsibilities as an enrollment counselor by connecting me with financial aid, technical support, and academic advising. He helped get my academic transfer process started and submitted my information for a Prior Learning Assessment. Instead of leaving me to navigate different departments alone, he helped bring the pieces together so I could move forward. What stands out to me is that Taylor understood my educational journey didn't begin or end with enrollment. He recognized the importance of the work I had already completed and helped me explore how it could contribute to my future. I'm now attending Walden and continuing to make progress toward my degree. Taylor's collaboration made that transition possible, and his encouragement helped me believe I could succeed. My instructors and everyone I have worked with at Walden have been supportive and encouraging. I feel like I belong and am part of a community here! Applying was extremely easy to do and the fact that it's online is perfect for me. It fits my schedule perfectly.
