Exposure to my career

My experience at Walden University has been positive. As an Early Head Start teacher balancing work, family, and school, I appreciate the flexibility of the Tempo program. I can fit coursework into my busy schedule, and what I am learning connects to the work I do with children and families every day. One of the best parts of my experience has been the support from Velvet. We meet every other week, and she checks in when she notices I have slowed down. She asks what is going on and how she can help, responds quickly when I reach out, and reminds me to give myself grace. During family emergencies, her understanding and encouragement helped me feel supported as both a student and a person. Having someone in my corner has made a big difference as I work toward my degree.

My experience at Walden University has been extremely positive. As a PhD in Management student balancing a full-time professional career and personal responsibilities, I appreciate the flexibility and support Walden provides. The faculty have been knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in student success. I particularly value the constructive feedback, meaningful classroom discussions, and opportunities to connect academic concepts with real-world leadership and organizational challenges. The doctoral residency was another valuable experience, providing opportunities to interact with faculty and fellow doctoral students while gaining a clearer understanding of the research and dissertation process. I have also appreciated the academic advising and resources available to support my progress. Overall, Walden has created a learning environment where I feel respected, encouraged, and challenged to grow both academically and professionally. I am pleased with my decision to pursue my doctorate at Walden University and would recommend it to other working professionals seeking to advance their education.

Walden University is an excellent school that offers integrity, strong resources, and the support students need to succeed. The professors and assigned advisers are highly knowledgeable and provide valuable guidance throughout the academic journey. What I appreciate most is being able to speak with a real person whenever I call, no matter what question I have. To every professor I have encountered along the way, I want to say thank you for your dedication and hard work. Students like me will always remember and appreciate your efforts. If you are looking for a school that will guide and support you from the first day of your program through the last, I highly recommend Walden University. The university is well organized and genuinely committed to helping students succeed.

My experiences with the enrollment specialist with Nikke Brewer was amazing. She made me feel welcomed and like family. She listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Very professional and soft spoken.

Walden University has been an amazing experience for me and is one of the best online universities I have attended. The flexibility of the online learning environment makes it a great choice for students who are willing to stay focused, manage their time well, and put real effort into their studies. One of the things I appreciate most about Walden is the online library. It is truly one of the best academic libraries I have ever used. Whenever I need research articles, scholarly resources, or information for an assignment, I can usually find exactly what I need. The instructors are also very supportive and helpful. They provide guidance, encouragement, and valuable feedback that can make a big difference in a student’s success. Walden is not inexpensive, and completing an online degree requires discipline and commitment. However, for students who are serious about their education and willing to put in the work, the experience can be very rewarding. I would definitely recommend Walden University to anyone looking for a flexible, modern, and supportive online learning experience.

The residencies that I have attended have been extremely helpful and have led to a better understanding of what is required, what is necessary to succeed, and what is next to tackle. I have felt that the material that we are learning is extremely helpful and pertinent to the program. My only complaint is the lack of APA accreditation; however, I feel that the hybrid nature of the program fits my life and ability to commit to the program.
