If I could give them a 0 I would. Love the idea, but you just can't trust their employees or their accountability. I came home to my dog bleeding in her crate. She received stitches 5 days prior on her abdomen, and I had stayed home from work for the first 4 days. I went back to work and told the walker that he's to only let her out to pee and she cannot go for a walk. I came home to find her bleeding, and found they went for a .53 mile walk. Wag denies responsibility saying I have no proof that they caused it. They also blamed me for booking a walk in the first place. Real nice, victim blaming. They took no responsibility, offered no assistance. I'm not sure what proof I can offer besides the vet bill for having to rush her to the hospital due to her excessive bleeding. I guess I needed to put her life and my concern aside and take excessive photos of the blood droplets on the floor. Thanks for nothing but stress, Wag.

Wag would be great if I could communicate directly with the walkers that I like. I really don't enjoy how my dog will bond with a walker and when I book through the app, a different walker pops up for my dog. When I call the customer service, they are rude and act like booking with my preferred walker is a huge hassle. Well, I do not need a third party to communicate for me. Wag is good to find a dependable walker, but I recommend stealing your walker from Wag and paying cash or venmo.

Wag had a great idea when they started this service. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to pull it all together and provide a valuable, reliable, and worthwhile solution for dog parents. I have given this company more than enough chances to show they put their customers (both dogs + owners) first and they have let me down time and time again. I've given them the opportunity to right their wrongs but they just don't get it. They cancel my walks last minute and the struggle to find replacement walkers. They charge me for late walks, when the tardiness is their error. I ask for consistent walkers for my consistent schedule and they cancel walkers on me all the time. When I call customer service I get attitude. These guys don't know how to run a customer-centric business. Don't trust these goons to look after your pooches. It's not worth the trouble.

Walking the dogs is the best part. Great part time work if only you could book the walks. Very difficult to book walks. Even if you find them right away. Not enough requests in Austin area and clients can choose a walker that they have used previously. If there were more requests for walks this would not be an issue. There is very little support. The day I had an issue WAG had changed their phone number yet they hadn't alerted walkers on the app. Company will string you along without letting you know that you have to pay for background check. They should have a list of everything you will need to pay for before you go through the process. The best part is meeting and walking the dogs ,if you can actually book one.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing w wag corporate. My walker, Nicole, was great! However, my building didn't provide keys for re-entry into my place as expected. Nor did Wag provide any advice to myself or my building staff as to how to use the lockbox. I spent $20 for a quick walk, $30 on a cab back, tipped $20 for the walkers inconvenience, and then Wag charged me an extra $30 for nothing!!! Wag is merely a referral service with no hopes of client retention nor any care for clients. They only provide texts with exclamation points, and don't really give a "@&$" hoot about their walkers or clients. Poor business practice and greed will prove their demise.

My daughter lives in Venice, California and contracted with WAG to walk her 9 pound mixed breed on Saturday night February 11 while she was at a business related event . The three year old spayed female is in a first floor apartment in a home with a regular and screened in door plus a gated yard. The WAG walker claims the dog ran from the apartment and burrowed under the fence and ran away. This is uncharacteristic behavior for this animal. WAG did not assist in the search and recovery and did not even post a picture provided on their local website to assist in finding the dog. The dog was recovered sixteen hours later and was treated and released from a vetinary hospital. At no time after the dog got loose did WAG contact my daughter or assist in any way.Know when you do business with this firm that they do not stand up for the animals they pretend to care about!!!

At first I was really looking forward to using this company, excitement soon turned to frustration. They sent me my lockbox, I set up my first dog walk for my 2 year old lab. when I got the notification that my dogs walk was over I came home to find a walker and my dog both stuck outside of my house because the lock box that they had given to me was broken and she couldn't get my house key out of it, I soon sent her home and told her that my husband would be home soon so not to worry about it I contacted Wag I was hung up on twice they didn't seem to really give a crap that I was locked outside of my house with my eight-month-old and it was getting cold out. My husband didn't end up coming home for another 45 minutes and during that time I had called Wag a few more times trying to speak with someone higher than the people they were giving me two nobody seems to care they literally told me to let them know how it goes. My husband ended up getting home and breaking the lock so that we could get inside of our house they never called me to check up and see how things were going I had my second wags walk scheduled and I had to be home to let the dog walker inside of my house because nobody cared to send me a new lock box either. This company is poorly thrown together. You don't even get to speak with the dog walker before they come inside of your home and walk your dog there's no way to coordinate with the dog walker either won't be recommending this company to anyone anytime soon

From day one, I have had nothing but positive experiences with Wag! Their customer service is exquisite and they're extremely responsive! Plus, the app itself is outstanding! Dog owners love knowing what their dogs aren't doing when they're away, so being able to see exactly where they're walking, peeing and pooping is pretty awesome. I love when I receive videos and pics through the app of my happy dog on his walk. Their walkers are very attentive and responsive. I feel very safe leaving my dog in their hands. I highly recommend Wag!
