First experience that frustrated me was going to cancel a pre-scheduled walk. Very high cancellation fee even though cancelled far in advance.

I've had all good experiences and a happy puppy to show for it.

Love my dog walker and the convenience of regular walks for them.

Wag is great. They are super flexible. They seem to really vet their walkers. They all seem to love dogs and are very attentive.

We have been using wag 3-4 times a week for the last two months. We have had a lot of time to evaluate Wag. And it has definite pros and cons. The good It’s a great concept - uber for dog walkers. Pick up your phone, punch in your request and someone comes to your house. Most important - the people who walk the dogs seem to be dog lovers The app is pretty simple to use It fills a void They have an army of walkers in our area - someone always signs up to walk. The bad No shows - we have had many (especially first time) walkers cancel last minute or not show up. The app will reschedule you, but it can take a while. So a 9 am walk might not happen until 1 pm. For us, what time the dog gets walked is important - you schedule a specific time but the walker can show up thirty minutes before or after, and if you don’t know it’s a no show until thirty minutes after the scheduled time it’s especially frustrating. These situations are where item three comes in - communication. If something is wrong, it’s hard to communicate with Wag. You can text, but responses are super slow. It can take an hour to resolve a simple issue. (I type, they reply fifteen minutes later, I reply, etc). Its tough to cancel if Wag reschedules (you can’t cancel same day, even if your walk is bumped back 3 hours). Back to texting - slow and sad. Anytime there had been a “text support” issue it’s frustrating and takes too long to fix. I will continue to use Wag, but I’m hoping they work out the kinks

Great experience with the walkers themselves, not so much with the app or the customer care interaction type either.

For the most part it's been positive. I've had walkers who start and end the clock early so my dog only got walked 15-20 minutes on a 30 minute walk. There doesn't seem to be a course of action to rectify that other than I can block them from future walks. I have had other walkers go above and beyond though.
