Be careful - they don’t read instructions
I have specific instructions on my dog’s profile to not use stairs. A few of my dog walkers have informed me that they have been letting my dog use stairs. When I talked with a customer service representative they said they do not require walkers to read instructions. That’s a huge red flag for me. If I put instructions in my dog’s profile, they should be followed. They also fail to let you know if your dog/animal makes a mess in your space. There have been a few times no walker has shown up despite being booked as well.

Our dog sitter was wonderful but the company was horrid!
Our dog sitter was wonderful! Our dog was happy when with her, and was eager to go back a second time. However the company was horrid! We had no idea where the sitter was even located (wasn't close at all, about 30 minutes away in the wrong direction!). The company doesn't give you the address until after the scheduled sitting time actually starts. The app kept overcharging us, so we kept having to cancel and try again. By the time it was correct we had about seven charges on our bank account. Communication with the company was very robotic. I will never use WAGS! again. Wasn't worth all the stress of being kept in the dark until it was almost too late.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a thorough and honest review. All of Wag! overnight services, do have a pre-authorization hold for an amount equal to the service, when scheduling. The pre-authorization hold will be released for any cancelled services, at time of cancellation. Release times will vary by banking institution. Charges are only applied once the service has been completed. Presently, Pet Caregivers set their own pricing however depending on selections made during booking can vary the overall cost. We appreciate your feedback regarding the location of the Pet Caregiver, for booking a boarding without pick-up/drop-off.
