You would think it’s a scam but I knew it was legit when I found out they take PayPal. The deelership wanted to charge me $140 for my radio code. I was charged $13 by these guys. I got an email within a couple of hours with my code. Thank you so much. It saved me ALOT of money.

This service is 100% real. Its normal to feel a little unsecure if someone somewhere is asking you for money upfront with a promise of providing a service. I was very sceptical at the beginning but risking 13$ wasnt a big deal.. i can assure you, these guys are legit 100%. I got my code in the morning and it was working.

Got a VW factory head unit from junkyard. No code. Tried calling dealership as I was told that could get codes by providing the donor car's VIN plus the serial# off the radio. I was informed that they no longer do that, but the recipient car instead had to be taken into the dealership, and let the service tech pull the code this way. ...Which of course costs both time and a "diagnostic fee" of ~$80. Called VW of America. They confirmed this is the new policy at dealerships.... So the radio I picked up for $30 from salvage yard was going to cost me more than 2x what I paid, just to unlock the stupid thing and use in my car. But then, I found vwcodes.org. I was skeptical, but did as asked. Provided serial number from the radio, and uploaded a pic of the label as well. Paid $13, and received the code in a couple hours via email. IT WORKED!!! Very happy now. That means I can get the code for a nav unit when I find one of those at the salvage yard someday. Well worth the $$.

Great option opposed to the stealership! Got my code within a half hour(probably 15 min) and it worked. Will use them again next time I need a code as I buy and sell vws often with missing radios. Now I can get a radio without worrying about weather it has a code !
