Bought a VW radio at local junk yard. In past brought to VW dealer and they gave me the code. This time, however, they said radio had to be installed in car so VW tech could put scan tool on vehicle and retrieve code. Sorry but car was scrapped. Vwcodes provided me the code pronto and it was the correct code to unlock the radio. Thank You!

At first, I was kind of reluctant to order the radio security code from vwcodes.org but after checking the VW car forums (vwvortex and golfmk6) and reading other people's experience, I thought it was worth a try. Sent my request in at 9:45am and I got my radio code at 10:11am and the code worked!! I tried calling a couple of VW dealerships for the code and they required the radio and the car to be scan and do not give the code over the phone any longer. I think the cost was $60 and lost time. This is only $12.99 and no need to go to the stealership.

I requested a code for a MFD2 navi. Followed the steps to make the payment and that was it. 2 hours(saturday) later I received the code through email and it worked! Am solicitat un cod pentru MFD2, am platit si in 2 ore am primit codul cerut.
