Placed an order since the 13th and i still haven’t received it, order shows fulfilled on the website.

The new packaging is horrible. I waste at least 10 minutes of my life tryjng to open it. Nope! Not worth it. Orgain all the way. No on thinks about these kinds of packaging for older people and it’s very very depressing.

FLY INCLUDED FOR EXTRA PROTEIN - A few days ago, after four years of taking this particular collagen every single day, I was surprised to discover an additional source of protein in my morning drink. As the powder dissolved, A DEAD CRANE FLY, apparently mummified inside a lump of collagen, slowly emerged before my eyes. Yes. A DEAD INSECT. IN MY DRINK. The drink I had already been drinking. I had already swallowed some of it before I realised what I was looking at. I immediately contacted Vital Proteins Customer Care, expecting concern, an explanation, or at the very least some interest in finding out how a dead insect had ended up concealed inside their collagen. I WAS DISAPPOINTED. After providing photographs, the batch number, proof of purchase and explaining that I had actually consumed some of the product before discovering my unexpected breakfast companion, I was told that Vital Proteins could not examine the product — OR THE INSECT ITSELF — because I had purchased it internationally. Apparently, THE CRANE FLY IS INTERNATIONAL. QUALITY CONTROL ISN'T. So I am now left with a tub of collagen, a preserved dead insect and a collection of emails documenting my attempt to get someone at Vital Proteins to actually look at the thing I found in their product. After four years of faithfully taking this product every day, I genuinely feel sick when I think about how many times I may have unknowingly consumed something that was sitting in the powder. I bought collagen... I DID NOT ORDER THE DELUXE INSECT EDITION! ⭐ 1/5 — would not recommend unless you're looking for an unexpected extra serving of protein or a crash course in entomology. THE MOST DISTURBING PART WASN'T THE INSECT — IT WAS THE LACK OF INTEREST IN FINDING OUT HOW IT GOT THERE, OR IN MAKING THINGS RIGHT WITH A CUSTOMER WHO HAD TRUSTED AND USED THIS PRODUCT DAILY FOR FOUR YEARS

Stuck on a subscription i never wanted, very difficult to cancel

Scam and money waste.

I have been buying their collagen powder for about 4 years, both in Canada and UK, and have a subscription. When I moved house a couple of months ago, I changed my default address on my account to my new one but the latest package was still sent to my old address. I went back in to check I definitely had changed the address before contacting customer service, but I was told that I hadn't changed it and there was nothing they were going to do to help me. I've taken a screenshot as proof and sent it to them but they are not replying. So I've lost over $70. They've lost a customer.

I have purchased this product's tasteless variety at Sam's Club and used it routinely 3 times daily for years now. Something has radically changed for the worse. It used to be excellent. It was absolutely tasteless and dissolved instantly. Starting mid 2025 the product started to smell like, well, and I'm trying my best to be polite yet accurate here, the unbathed lower posterior portion of the human anatomy. The minute you open the container it's very OBVIOUS and seems to line up with the products new packaging, but that may be purely a coincidence. I thought maybe it's just a bad batch so I tried three more containers, all of which I had to throw away which is a costly waste that I certainly can't afford. No it wasn't as the smell issue persisted. So I finally figured that maybe it's just my sensitive nose and taste being off. So I made up my mind to just bear with it and it actually made me sick to my stomach to drink. It's VERY disappointing to me as I had come to rely on, and trust in this product for it's very real observable benefits.

I have been using the collagen for years very happy with it, but since last year, the product quality starts going down. It has an unbearable smell, but I didn't give up, thought that was the batch issue, bought another 4 times, but 2 out of 4 times has this problem. Sadly after being years of customer, I am now going to switch to other brand.
