Ordering from this company has been the *single most stressful experience* I've ever had when ordering something online. I do not typically write reviews. However, no one else needs to waste their money on this scam. I ordered my daughter's birth certificate in DECEMBER OF 2021. I provided documentation with my name and current address as requested; forms of documentation, which were on the list of what's acceptable to verify one's identity. However, several were not accepted for one reason or another. I'll never know what those reasons are, as any representative I spoke to had no answers for me and seemed directionless when trying to resolve my issue. Every verification period took days only for an item to come back as unapproved. It took MONTHS to get an approved status. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. Nothing. Any time I called to talk to someone, I was on hold for at least 20-25 minutes. When I emailed, I received no resolution, only direction to call the number. At this point, my user portal has been disabled. I called again today because I NEED this document for the upcoming school year. It's been 7 months since they collected my payment. I was just told that, first, the payment they took from me is non-refundable, and second, that I'd need to RE-ORDER IT. So, not only does Vital Check want me to restart the whole process but pay ANOTHER $40 to wait for nothing? No. I will have to find another company to produce my daughter's birth certificate.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Worst company ever to do business with. Unfortuntely, CT only uses them, wether on line or by mail. Be prepared for a long, drawn out, unnecessary process with incompetent people

Ridiculous excuse for a company. They charge over 10 times the actual cost of getting the documents and advertise express service which is actually 6 months. Do not get involved with this company.

This company is HORRIBLE!!! I ordered my birth certificate back in January 2022 and it is going into July and I still do NOT have it. They keep giving me the run around. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Go to your local county or city and get your Birth Certificate or vital records to avoid this headache. Avoid them at all cost!!!! I had to cancel my vacation due to not being able to get my new passport because I have yet to get my birth certificate. I have also contacted my attorney concerning this matter.

In the 54 yrs I have been alive my experience with Vital Check remains as one of the very worst experiences I've been through. I spent nearly four months trying to get my birth certificate from them. Submitted every possible document from drivers license, SS card, vehicle registration, vehicle title, bank statements, letter from the DMV, utility bills, cellphone bill, etc. Only to be told that none of those documents would work. They went on to tell me that it wasn't them that was refusing them. It was the vital statistics department of the state that I was born in. Ironically, it was only when I spoke to the head of vital statistics in that respective state that I was able to get anything done. The people at Vital Check we're absolutely horrible. I would highly recommend staying as far away as you possibly can from Vital Check.

Processing time on the state website is advertised as three days. On the state website it states the cost of using this service, "unless an issue is identified". It has been over a month, I still haven't received anything, and they have kept the money. I keep getting bogus errors over the same items I've submitted multiple times (with a paper trail on everything). Never, ever use this service. It is literally faster (and cheaper!) in the end to just go through the regular process.

I had to get a Death Certificate on my son Daniel. It cost me $75.00 and after four weeks I still had not received it. The only communication between us was me emailing and calling them. It took over two months until I finally received it. I would not recommend.

VitalCheck, an apt name for a company that is guaranteed to increase your blood pressure. The tale of woe; *Requests completion of a single form, then repeatedly asks for more documents, without specifying the type of document/s required. *Time space between communications is at least a week. *Then, after using my best sleuthing skills to supply the right documents I'm told that the initial form downloaded from their rudimentary website is obsolete. *Thus having to get the form resigned by a Public Notary for an additional $165! Be very cautious about using this organisation which has a chance to redeem itself before I ask for a refund.
