I went to Tractor Supply in Albany today! The person doing the registration was very rude and disrespectful! I stated that I made an appointment and received notification to join the line. I was talking to others in the line and she yelled, first of all we don’t have appointments while tending to the customer in front of me. When it was my turn to be served she stated, you won’t be seen here spreading misinformation about appointments! I said, whatever what’s next? We can move on. She stated, we will not be moving forward until you understand because we’re just not going to let it end there. She stated that I can go to TS in Americus and be seen. You will not be seen here today until you say that you understand! I said, whatever! She said, do we have an understanding, as if I’m a child! She said, are we clear? I’ve never been treated in such a manner. I reported this to the other staff and they apologized!! They were very nice but I won’t come back to this TS for my pet care. Apparently, she had her family there as well because as I reported it one of the two ladies that was standing behind and to the side of her came up because she heard me reporting her, stated that she did that because I said that I had an appointment! That young lady was very rude and nasty!!

You can tell it’s CHEAP by the quality…
You can tell it’s CHEAP by the quality of their service. The vet “couldn’t” get a heartworm test done on my 5 year old dog who’s never had an issue getting one done before. I can’t believe I just wasted 2 hours waiting and the money I spent on my other dogs was the SAME AS A LOCAL OUTPATIENT VET CLINIC. NEVER AGAIN.

VIP Petcare employs unqualified veterinarians
Went to a pet clinic by VIP Petcare because I needed new vaccinations for my dogs to be legal in Colorado. I told the VIP Petcare vet that I needed the vaccinations which in Colorado allow a dog to be serviced by groomers. The vet sold me an oral vaccination in addition to the rabies vaccination and told me that would cover the state requirements. Obviously the vet did not know his business, as I went to a groomer and they said they required a distemper vaccination per state law. I looked up the law and sure enough, distemper vaccination is now required. So, the VIP Petcare vet didn;t know the law for the state in which he practices, he misinformed me, and he charged me for the wrong vaccination

Tractor Supply Pet Vet Clinic, Beware.
Soon 8/9/2026 I took my daughter’s dog that is a service animal to the Tractor Supply in Oak Ridge, NC for a Pet Vet appointment to get some of his vaccinations. After waiting to be seen for 2 hours we finally get up to the desk to be the next dog patient. At that time the Vet decides to walk out on the staff, leaving a long line of pissed off customers. So we rescheduled to 8/23/2026 in Boone, NC close to my daughter’s school where the dog lives with her. So we arrive early and are the first patient to be scene. My dog gets a very abbreviated exam, they take his stool sample, draw his blood and administer his vaccinations. Now their computer/Ipad is not working properly. They can’t connect to the server. We pay the fee and they assure us that everything will be entered and we will get the email confirmation and receipt for the visit. We get nothing but a pending transaction in our bank account. It’s been numerous emails and phone calls with nothing cleared up yet. We need the documentation for her apartment complex. I don’t want to have to take him to another vet to get the same shots he already received with the possibility of adverse reactions. This is beyond frustrating. I advise taking you dogs or cat to the Humane Society if you are trying to save some money. At least they’re responsible.

Prioritization Lacks
Vets are okay. Always treated my animals well. I’ve only ever brought in cats, so I can’t say how my dogs would react. However, they prioritize when you sign up online versus when you actually check in. HOW does that make sense? No reason I should have to wait more than an hour upon arrival because someone signed up online ahead of me.

These people are disorganized
These people are disorganized, over priced and rude.

Not worth your time
A hold time of 33 minutes or more to talk with someone is ridiculous. Making an appointment is never easy. Downloading medical files isn't straightforward and leads you to ahe weblink. Trying to get more heart worm prevention is difficult. In the end, the costs of all of their services is not cheaper than a vet. I do not recommend this company.

Not Worth The Aggrevation. Go Elsewhere. August 2026

Tractor Supply - Vippet Clinic
Brockport, N.Y. 14420
Rude staff. Zero Communication.
I was told to wait in my car and they would text me to come in with my feline. They NEVER texted me.
I had to go into the store.
In the Meantime -
I watched people herd into Tractor Supply with a German Shepherd, 2 large dogs, and a woman
with a cat in a cat carrier.
THEY WERE ALL WAITED ON AND TAKEN CARE OF.
In the meantime, I am REQUIRED to wait to be texted, which I was NEVER texted, waiting in a hot car
with my feline.
They had 4 staff members there. 3 women, one guy.
They were more than ADEQUATELY staffed.
Was there a Vet there?
In June 2026, I brought my feline in to be Dewormed.
The Deworming was done. No hassle. No problems.
I paid them and left.
Fast forward to August 2026.
#1.) I am IN THEIR RECORDS.
Name, address, felines name, ect., ect.
( Remember the above, I brought my feline in for a Deworming "without requring any paperwork" in June 2026.
I am in their system, name, address, ect.
(Along with my felines information)
This time around I brought my feline in for a service.
The staff required me to DRIVE HOME and get my felines records to PROVE SHE HAD HER RABIES VACCINATION. Thankfuly I lived close by.
I did so. I brought in the actual paperwork so I could
prove to them my feline had its rabies vaccination.
I asked the Vippet person at Tractor Supply why
can't they record in their records the up to date
rabies and distemper vaccinations my feline had.
The Response. - THE ANIMAL HAS TO HAVE A RABIES SHOT PERFORMED BY VIPPET CLINIC at Tractor Supply. ( Gottcha - We Want YOUR MONEY )
Vippet Clinic WILL NOT INPUT ANOTHER FACILITIES RABIES OR OTHER VACCINATIONS FROM ANOTHER
PLACE INTO THEIR RECORDS.
SUGGESTIONS -
1.) "LETS INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS OF THE ABOVE POLICY". PUT A SIGN UP.
GET AN EASEL AND A MARKER AND INFORM PEOPLE.
THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A NEW POLICY.*****
Why? BECAUSE I HAD MY FELINE DEWORMED
IN JUNE 2026. WITHOUT THE DEMANDS OF A RABIES SHOT.
2.) UNORGANIZED and UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE.
I was told to WAIT IN MY VEHICLE WITH MY ANIMAL.
In the meantime, I watched 4 people enter Tractor Supply with their huge dogs, and a cat, and were waited on and taken care of.
3.) Was there a Veterinarian there? Who was the Vet? Why was the Veterinarian NOT IDENTIFIED?
Was it just 4 Vippet Staff Members and not any Veterinarian on the premises?
Usually Dr. Charlotte Tutu is at the Brockport
Tractor Supply Site.
VIPPET advertises that a Veterinarian in on
staff at the clinics.
4.) Yes, the prices are budget friendly.
Is it worth the Nonsense, Unorganization and Aggrevation to be singled out and treated poorly?
I will let you decide.
Inthe meantime:
I felt as if I was treated poorly.
Zero Communication.
New Rabies policy to present paperwork to the staff.
Why are the clients NOT INFORMED OF THIS MATTER?
Told to wait in the car while other customers freely entered Tractor Supply with their animals at Brockport Tractor Supply VIPPET CLINIC and were immediately taken care of.
Told to drive home and bring back proof my feline
was vaccinated. WHEN DID THIS POLICY TAKE PLACE?
ESPECIALLY WHEN IN JUNE 2026 I HAD MY FELINE DEWORMED THERE WITHOUT ANY DEMANDS FOR PAPERWORK FOR A RABIES VACCINATION.
Why is there not a SIGN REQUESTING THIS?
PUT UP A SIGN.
CONCLUSION : Brockport Tractor Supply Clinic
Dropped the ball on this experience.
Only Positive action - felines nails were cut well.
