Went to Valvoline in Sea Girt NJ, they did not close my hood properly which resulted in it opening all the way, slamming into my roof, dislodging a major component in my cat which hit me in the face all while driving 65 mph in the left lane of a highway. Now they are claiming ZERO responsibility and will not pay a cent to help repair my car. Shame on them and shame on the cold hearted people in corporate who could care less that I almost died do to their negligence.

I went to get an oil change and check the tire pressure in my boyfriends car and that car only takes the full synthetic oil and they asked if I wanted the half blend synthetic or full and I told them to hold on and DONT do anything and Shelia I believe was her name said okay we will check the battery and tire pressure... by common since thinking, that means don't do anything pertaining to the oil change, without telling they did so and not communicating with they guys under the cars had already drained the oil and changed the filter. The price for the oil change there was $90 and that is ridiculous... I very clearly said don't do anything until I called my boyfriend but started the oil change despite what I asked. Valvoline Instant Oil Change on 4025 challenger Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24012 I will never go to Valvoline ever again and if I was anybody else I wouldn't either because of the major communication error and outrageous price to change my oil... ABSOLUTLY RIDICULOUS

The DeWitt NY store damaged my car. The store's excuse was "this happens all the time" and it was my problem, not theirs. I guess being careful isn't an option. The manager Clayton said he'd, quote, "take care of the oil change". Then, of course, I was charged $25. I finally spoke with Area Manager Al after 2 weeks of calls with no response. Al claimed he didn't know there was a problem, even after all the messages. He made a huge deal about being the "final authority" on this. I'm disabled, had to run around town getting estimates (which is both difficult and very painful) and had Clayton go back on his promise. After all that, I ran into "Al, The Final Authority" who doesn't return calls, claims he didn't know there was a problem after two weeks of messages, is fine with store managers misleading customers, believes it's OK for employees to damage cars and it's the customer's problem if they do. Corporate won't lift a finger. Make up your own mind about Valvoline but if you do I hope you don't meet up with "Al, The Final Authority" or any of the bosses that allow employees like him to prosper.

I went to Valvoline, 1225 Front St. Binghamton, NY 13901. Getting an oil change is usually just a mundane experience. I never write reviews, but felt compelled to due to the extraordinary service I received. The manager, Will, was so friendly and he has an awesome sense of humor! He also was extremely informative about each and every step he and his staff were taking to perform my oil change. He offered me additional services, but was honest in telling me some of the services could wait til my next oil change (mileage not high enough yet). I’ve had to supervise people in the past and I can tell you that he and his staff have mutual respect for each other! When I commented to an employee how nice Will was to me, this employee said he was the best “boss” he ever had! In closing, some people get stressed when they’re paying around $100 for an oil change, air filter, and a light, but Will kept me laughing and at ease! You have a great asset in that man named, Will! Went to the Valvoline on Pineridge Blvd in Home Depot plaza in Naples Fl and the wanted $101 AFTER $14 coupon for an oil change.Wonder why they don't advertise they're prices.SCAM

Went into Gilford NH Valvoline garage. Just got in from Florida NH after being delayed a couple of months by Covid 19 —and needed Truck inspected. Three bays and not a single customer. I have been a regular customer there for 5 years. Asked to get an inspection. Attendant said he would ask the “inspector” he said he would not do it, they only had three people on because of Covid and if an oil change came in the inspector would have to help with change. I said that would be ok because I really needed a sticker. He said it could take an hour I said ok. The inspector “ said no he would not do it. I went across the street to the Meineke garage. They had all 5 bays full. Told the manager my problem. He understood I needed a sticker right away and said I will work you in if you would not mind a wait. I waited outside because their waiting room was full. The Valvoline store in full view 45 minuets I was back on the road and not a single customer stopped in to the Valvoline Garage during that time. So now Valvoline has 1 less customer to worry about.

Discrimination - I have experienced poor quality attention at Vancouver Cascade park location (address: 16200 SE Cascade Park Dr, Vancouver, WA 98683) from the technicians name Jesse and Antoine. I was left unattended and both of the technicians went to serve next customer in line without mentioning to me anything before or after they left me unattended. Next customer in line was taken care of and then they resumed service to my car. Based n my experience I would choose not to go for service again.
