I went yesterday with coupon in hand. One guy I've seen regularly started the process and then I feel scammed. The second guy fast talked me. He went over gas treatment prices, mentioning 3 different prices. His last price said was 24.99. At the end I ended up paying 199.00 for a oil change. I absolutely will not be going back.

I live in Westerville Ohio and have gone through the Valvoline here twice. The first time seemed fine but I was in there a few weeks ago for an oil change and tire rotation. I paid nearly $200 and not only did they not put air in all of my tires but they couldn't even refill or top off the fluids. A week after I was in there my tire pressure light came on and then another couple weeks later I was out of windshield wiper fluid. The kids at this location do not care to take care of the customer. For as much money as I paid I deserve to get every service they offer that is included and what I am paying for. I will never go back there again.

I have usually had good experience with Gresham Valvoline. But last time 2 things were upsetting. I brought my own synthetic motor oil (because otherwise I can't afford it), but was still charged $52 for the oil change. A technician told me it would cost "20-something" for a cabin air filter, but I was charged $48! I would not have had the filter changed at that price. I called Valvoline Customer Service about it & was told the local manager would call me back. He didn't. After a week, I called Customer Service again. Reading the notes, the representative told me that the manager indicated that the prices were correct, and nothing would be done. Probably won't go back there.

I used to really like Valvoline oil change. They were fast, convenient and cheap. Most of those things are gone now. You used to be able to call them and get an estimated wait time from a robot, which could help you decide whether it was worth it or not to drive to a Valvoline location. It was a time and frustration saver. They took that away. They used to be cheap– they’re not cheap anymore. Literally the only thing they have left going for them is the fact that you can show up whenever it suits you – but that’s not nearly as good now that you don’t know if there’s a long line. You might get there and find it too full and have to look someplace else instead. They’ve pretty much become not worth it anymore- which is a shame because they WERE good and they took away all the things that made them worth using. Bad decisions at the top, Valvoline. Tsk.

Had my oil changed in my 2022 Silverado. Started noticing circle spots on my concrete driveway. Gradually increasing in size I crawled under the truck and noticed oil leaking from the oil filter. The oil filter was ready to fall off and was not tight at all. I called them and they changed my again and gave me a free oil change after. I expressed my concern over my stained driveway and the manger said he would personally come and clean. He never showed up. Had I not crawled under it would have been an engine replacement. Also, manager stated he had a lot of new employees and this is not the first time. They need more quality control. I will not be returning for my “free” oil change.

I go there for my oil changes. The service is good. BUT they are very pushy on up sales. I am taking a few pictures just before I go in next time. I can't prove it but here are two examples: 1) Told me my trans was leaking. Took in and my mechanic that does the work when I don't want anymore says the amount of trans fluid that would be lost is about a teaspoon a year .2) The other day. They showed me an oil cap ( I don't think it is mine but can't prove it.).With white contaminated oil. They try to say I need a total oil flush. I said no just change the oil. 3) I drove for almost a week and inspected the cap and dipstick. Clean as a whistle. If there was water and or antifreeze in the oil it would have showed up again. Note: 1) Oil flush is never needed for that. The oil already has additives for that. And the car will burn that off with a few longer drives. 2) Minor Causes for that are: too many short drives , bad PCB value , poor oil cap seal. 3 Major Causes. Head gasket. I don't like that they are giving me false information. And they should know better. I will give them one more chance.

10/18/24 i went to Valvoline for an oil change Friday afternoon. One day later, 10/19 while driving home my car is my sensor came on showing low oil pressure. I pull to a station and check the oil and it it done dry. AAA called and my car has been towed. Now I'm without a car until shop advises issue. They may owe an engine

I have been using Valvoline for my oil change for years - loved that I got more than an oil change for my $$$. But, Sunday, Sept 15th I took my granddaughter’s car in for an oil change - had a $15. Coupon off synthetic oil change - still cost $91. They did not check any of the lights as they normally do - did not check the cabin air filter - I don’t believe they checked the engine air filter as when they’ve done it in the past they always showed it to me. I actually asked if they still check tire pressure b/c her car showed low pressure on 1 tire - and, they said they would after I finished paying. If they had asked, I probably would’ve had them rotate the tires- but, they didn’t ask. Not the service I am used to - left feeling very short/changed.
