Watch what fluids they put in your vehicle as they used manual transmission fluid in my differential vs 75-90W gear oil per factory specs. I filed a complaint with the BBB and disputed the charge with my credit card company. I'm also putting in negative reviews on every site I can find. Stick with the dealer! Update, they are refusing to make this right so I will be boycotting VOC and will spread the word to avoid these losers!

Did not change the oil. When my husband took the black oil back to them 3 days later they refused to do anything. Said they changed it. Well oil doesn't turn black after 3 days.

Charlestown Road location, New Albany Indiana. 8:20am Saturday morning. The business opened at 8 AM. I had called on Friday to inquire. When I drove up, there were no other customers in line. I waited five minutes, but no employee came out to greet me. I asked some workers if they were Valvoline employees, and they said no, but pointed to a man sitting in a car, smoking a cigarette. ‘He is’ they said. He had been sitting in that car smoking the entire time I had been waiting for a Valvoline employee to help me. Apparently, his smoke was more important after 20 some minutes of ‘work’ than taking care of a customer on this Saturday morning. As we say in my family, this first time at Valvoline was also my last! I drove off.

Valvoline rips you off. Then they refuse to own up to you or give you a refund. They took full advantage of me a single unemployed mom. When I first went there my car got stuck in the oil change ditch, theh called a tow truck that costed me $275 just to get my car tire out. Then they told me nothing was wrong with the car. When I took it to my regular auto body shop told me that my car needed an alignment! I had to pay $74!! Valvoline told me my car was ok! I will never go back to Valvoline again

Had an inspection and oil change and last year the vin# was incorrect and I had to go in person and show my receipt to register my vehicle. I just got my oil changed again and told the tech. to please check the vin# on my inspection because it had an extra letter last time. He assured me he would make sure it's correct. Well, went to get my registration today and was told they would not do it this time until it was corrected. Called while I was at the DMV office and they could not get anyone at the store on the phone and were going to have them call me back. 3 hours later, no call back. Called again and was told no one picking up at the store but customer service could make the correction for me. Waited on hold for customer services and was told I would have to go back to the store to get it corrected :-/. Very disappointed.

I got a tire rotation and oil change in Athens, Tennessee on Decatur Pike on April 29, 2022. Staff was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this location. Couldn't be better satisfied.

WORST PLACE TO GET AUTO REPAIR. THEY ARE JUST PRETEND.

Review is negative 10 but not an option. Other than regular maintenance we have not had a single mechanical issue with our 2011 Toyota Avalon since purchase as original owner, until 1st ever Valvoline service March 2022. After oil change I optioned both transmission and coolant services. Valvoline tech did not fully connect primary engine / radiator hose that fully disconnected under pressure and lost all radiator coolant. A small amount of coolant held by engine block prevented engine seizure. Days later experienced extreme smoke from under hood followed with Check Engine warning. Took to Toyota dealer who documented that transmission fluid overfill created internal pressure, and overflow valve released fluid into engine cavity to prevent transmission seal failure, as the overflow valve is designed to do. The fluid covered right side of engine shorting out engine O2 sensor. Valvoline DENYED it was a Valvoline error that created problem!! I paid for repair and cleaning fluid that covered engine and underside of car. Yesterday re-submitted claim to Valvoline Customer Care. Was told that person needed to review is on vacation for a full week and will respond when able to do so. If denied again I will be forced to take to Small Claims Court for full repairs cost + 13 hours of lost time cost created in managing this Valvoline transmission service workmanship mistake. * I will update this pending result of claim re-submission.
