After paying to watch a particular show, which i couldn't find, I asked for a refund and they refused to give me my money i don't need the app for anything other than the show

In the past, they offered top quality shows. But for some reason, they are offering more and more BL. In fact, over half the new offerings just listed were BL. AND there is no way for me to screen this so the LTBTQ++++ and BL stuff doesn’t display. I’m tired of having to scroll thru it, and I don’t want my kids to see it.

I think something is wrong with my email to you. I got a texted message asking me to verify my email. I have face log in and it was fine. But they sent my email as mbeier1964.gmail which is wrong. They have 1 number wrong. So I was worried about doing any changes. With all the hacking that happens now a days so just thought I would ask before changing anything.

I have been a long-time Viki subscriber and have continuously paid $3.99 per month without canceling or changing my plan. I was very surprised on August 27, 2026 to find that my monthly subscription was suddenly increased to $7.99 — essentially double the price. I contacted Viki Support to ask why my long-standing subscription price had changed. Their response on September 1, 2026 is simply stated that subscription pricing had been updated in my country and that my renewal price would automatically increase starting August 27, 2026. What I found frustrating is that they did not actually address my specific account history. I asked why a continuously maintained subscription was being moved from $3.99 to $7.99 when I had not canceled, changed plans, or had a failed renewal. Instead, I received what felt like a generic explanation of Viki's current pricing. For a long-time customer, a 100% price increase deserves a clear explanation. If Viki has decided to end grandfathered or legacy pricing for existing subscribers, they should say so directly and clearly explain when and how customers were notified. I have enjoyed Viki for many years, which makes the lack of transparency around this price increase especially disappointing.

Honestly it’s all good until the show glitches, when you finish the set of ads (5) it automatically puts 5 more, you finished them and suddenly you’re back at the beginning of the episode to watch 2 more ads, then you wanna skip to where you were and 5+ ads then again the cycle. It just keeps glitching and glitching it’s like they do it on purpose to make more money. I mean the least they could do is make it work properly, one chapter ONE and I watched a total of 47 ads, crazy right? And the fact that some ads are 30 second long. Multiply that by 25, 12 and a half minutes, add the 110 second (from the other 22 ads 5 secs each, 110) that’s like 13.20 minutes… for a 30 minute long chapter…

L'ho già fatto ben due volte negli ultimi mesi per due problemi enormi e sistemici, collezionando solo un muro di gomma, decine di mail inutili e zero soluzioni. Ecco le condizioni reali della piattaforma oggi: 1. Bug del player e un'assistenza da incubo (Giugno/Luglio) L'applicazione si blocca sistematicamente a ogni pubblicità. L'assistenza? Un labirinto burocratico. Rispondere direttamente alle loro mail fa scattare l'errore Postmaster, costringendoti a usare un form web che genera ticket duplicati all'infinito. In 15 giorni mi hanno chiesto prima file di log sensibili (file HAR, con gravi rischi per la privacy dei cookie) e poi video dello schermo di 6 minuti (file pesantissimi che il loro stesso sistema rifiuta per limiti d'allegato). 2. Sottotitoli "ITA 100%" tradotti col traduttore automatico (Agosto) Spacciano per completi e revisionati drama con traduzioni palesemente eseguite con software automatici e mai controllate da un essere umano. Tra le perle più gravi: Northern Dipper Hunter tradotto letteralmente come "Cacciatore del mestolo del Nord", personaggi maschili che parlano di sé al femminile ad ogni frase e perfino testi di lavorazione rimasti a schermo come "EPISODIO XX — NON EDITATO". 3. La beffa del supporto clienti Oltre a rispondermi in lingue totalmente a caso (francese e spagnolo su ticket in italiano/inglese), l'assistenza mi ha suggerito che, se voglio sottotitoli fatti bene, posso candidarmi come contributor e tradurli gratis per loro. Dopodiché hanno chiuso il ticket segnandolo come "Risolto" senza aver toccato una riga di testo o di codice. Siamo clienti che pagano o fruiscono di pubblicità, non beta-tester e certamente non manodopera gratuita per coprire la vostra totale assenza di controllo qualità. Risparmiate risposte preimpostate: ad oggi Viki è una piattaforma abbandonata a se stessa.

The content is great! However, the playback quality is low, frequent errors interrupt viewing, and shows stop suddenly and something completely different will start playing without any user input. Very frustrating.
