Rakuten VikiReviews of viki.com

Yes it has a huge variety of titles/genres, but the main page has no structure. It lists titles in no particular order just cascading down the page. Nothing is broken down by category. The search feature is useless. No matter what title I was looking for it kept showing the same 3 titles. Neither of them even had a word I used in the search field. I got tired of just scrolling down the page looking for something to watch. I saw some titles I already saw on Tubi, which has a better page design, and search function that actually works! Good thing I didn't drop money on a lame service like this.

would be great but too many adds in just one show. 12-14 ads on a 45 minute show? I understand the need for ads but always putting the same ones on and putting them on right in the middle of a main scene. you can't even rewind without seeing the same ad again. there are more free streaming programs that are much more user friendly. Removing it from my streaming.

After paying to watch a particular show, which i couldn't find, I asked for a refund and they refused to give me my money i don't need the app for anything other than the show

I have been a long-time Viki subscriber and have continuously paid $3.99 per month without canceling or changing my plan. I was very surprised on August 27, 2026 to find that my monthly subscription was suddenly increased to $7.99 — essentially double the price. I contacted Viki Support to ask why my long-standing subscription price had changed. Their response on September 1, 2026 is simply stated that subscription pricing had been updated in my country and that my renewal price would automatically increase starting August 27, 2026. What I found frustrating is that they did not actually address my specific account history. I asked why a continuously maintained subscription was being moved from $3.99 to $7.99 when I had not canceled, changed plans, or had a failed renewal. Instead, I received what felt like a generic explanation of Viki's current pricing. For a long-time customer, a 100% price increase deserves a clear explanation. If Viki has decided to end grandfathered or legacy pricing for existing subscribers, they should say so directly and clearly explain when and how customers were notified. I have enjoyed Viki for many years, which makes the lack of transparency around this price increase especially disappointing.

Honestly it’s all good until the show glitches, when you finish the set of ads (5) it automatically puts 5 more, you finished them and suddenly you’re back at the beginning of the episode to watch 2 more ads, then you wanna skip to where you were and 5+ ads then again the cycle. It just keeps glitching and glitching it’s like they do it on purpose to make more money. I mean the least they could do is make it work properly, one chapter ONE and I watched a total of 47 ads, crazy right? And the fact that some ads are 30 second long. Multiply that by 25, 12 and a half minutes, add the 110 second (from the other 22 ads 5 secs each, 110) that’s like 13.20 minutes… for a 30 minute long chapter…

Charging me after 2 episodes? Seriously? It was literally free for me to watch now it’s charging me monthly subscription after the 2nd episode. Why? Is it possibly baiting me after a cliffhanger to pay for nonsense?! It’s a show, and this app shouldn’t make it hard to watch. This app is truly unbearable. I was watching an ad and when I kept tapping skip, it kept restarting the ad over and over! If this app will charge me, it better fix its stupid app! Truly disappointing, and ridiculous! I can’t watch that show here where I live anywhere else and this is the only app I could watch it. I only watched 2 episodes, truly thrilled. What a shame, fix this brutal app. And if it charged me before I watched the show I’d understand but now I just wasted my time after a cliffhanger and charge. Horrible experience.

Jeg er meget træt og irriteret af man hele tiden skal have problemer med at log in på Samsung TV med Viki.
