Our installer O.J. was great, super professional and polite, the man needs a raise. We switched over from hughesnet, now we can watch TV without constant buffering. I would recommend Viasat, so far we are very pleased.

The technician was talking to friends on his phone the whole time he was here. I went out to ask a question and he did not even notice me since he was on the phone. He left trash in the back of house that my dog could have been harmed with. He left trash outside our fenced yard as well Then he left the area without saying anything, then came back inside to say he was done.

Great Service!

There is always something wrong with Viasat. The technician was great. However, when he called in for technical help, there was a problem just with my house. The techs helping him caused what should have been a one-hour visit to be 4 hours. Or it was a factor of the Viasat person at a prior visit. Again the tech was great, knowledgeable and professional. Then viasat wants me to pay more for what they offer which is so much less than prior internet providers. I just don’t see a company that cares. Further, I had to cancel a prior appointment just to see the tech. So after being without internet for a week already, I had to leave my needed appointment or wait until after Christmas to have a tech at my house. So Viasat does not even plan to cover Texas properly. There is not even a real attempt.

Viasat advertised via an email purchasing additional data through the holidays on a one time basis/billing. I decided to purchase 10 additional data points ($14.99) and then after the purchase I received an email indication that my one time purchase was not going to be good through the holidays season but was only good for my existing billing period which ended in two days. I called viasat and was told too bad - the additional 10 data points would expire in two days and there was no way that they could be rolled over to my next billing period nor could I request a refund. So, I am not a happy customer of this company.

Everything was right to the point and easy to understand.

Started with untruth that both households could use the service then realized the one that needed service for 2 gaming counsels couldn’t work off the system. So just beware unleashed can’t handle 2 phones, tv and 2 gaming counsels. Otherwise for me and streaming alone it will work fine. Pricier than others but it’s rural and hard for service.
