Utterly hopeless
Utterly hopeless. Incomprehensible and an absolute waste of time. I have never encountered such a useless piece of crap as this app.

There was no way to enter the return flight from CDG to DFW. We ended up approved to fly from DFQ to CDG on our return - the wrong flight, at the wrong time, from the wrong airport. We spent 4 hours trying to figure this out. This was the absolute worst part of dealing with Covid and travel. It was a major disappointment after spending 10 days in France where everything from passport sanitaire to getting tested was as easy as it could be.

This app is a waste of time. It won't scan the QR codes of a government test site. It won't let you update or correct information if that info. has been uploaded at an earlier date. You can't delete info for a companion passenger It's unworkable.

VeriFLY is as close to a scam as their is. You spend hours uploading all the data and photographs before it shuts down halfway through the process forcing you to do it again. Half the time that pops up in the wrong language. Once you finally get it all working you have to do it all over again for your international flight home. Oh, and I forgot to mention that Viking Cruises, American Airlines, Lufthansa and British Airways (who email you asking you to complete the app) never ask you about it and don’t care.

One star is too much. It doesn’t save data. It takes so much time that it is pointless to use it.

Waste of time. The airline (Aer Lingus) strongly recommended we use the app. Spent hours uploading the required documents, scanning qr codes, taking photos etc, only on arrival at the airport to find that there was no opportunity to use it- there was a dedicated VeriFLY lane at the gate, but it was closed! Complete waste of time.
nevermind
Agree this is a useless app. When we pressed Start to take a selfie it did nothing. Couldn't get any further and from what others say it wouldn't have been much use anyway. Great idea, lousy technology. BA, please take note!

Another frustrated customer. I’m just as upset with American Airlines for requiring Verifly in order to complete check-in. I did everything right and still not checked in. AA is creating their own problem for counter agents to take care of at a busy airport. So unfair for them and us!
