Dreadful experience trying to use app would not let go past uploading photo.Just checked in online with aerlingus on departure and printed boarding passes. On return flight could not get past checking in online without downloading the Veryfly app which would not work.Aerlingus did not say this app was compulsory in order to travel it just recommended it, but could not check in on line to return without it. It was so stressful especially when it would not work. Aerlingus also advised to bring paperwork anyway so what is the point of the app.Aerlingus should drop this .Had to get to the airport early to make sure could check in at desk and get boarding passes printed the old fashioned way and speak to a member of staff.Other passengers we spoke to were distressed over the situation and said they would have to reconsider flying with AerLingus now if this app is not dropped.Flying is stressful enough without this added extra dreadful experience.

We used this a couple of times to avoid the queues at British Airways check in. However, they are exceptionally slow and useless to update any rule changes. I actually pointed out to them that France does not need <16yrs to be vaccinated if accompanying vaccinated adults, but they ignored this and fobbed me off with "Engineers are working on this around the clock" what a load of rot. Just get on with the job!! Complete incompetents they are!! No ability to think laterally, no ability to step up to the plate and perform... just USELESS

Avoid avoid avoid !!!!!!!this app is an absolute bloody nightmare ! Firstly Aer Lingus state we highly recommend you use this app , be aware this third party are holding all of your details nothing to do with Aer Lingus so first red flag !! Disclaimers in the small print , secondly it is not a legal requirement to use this app once you have your passport , vaccine documentation, passenger locator form that is ALL that is legally required of you to travel (except exemptions of course) I’ve now spent two hours trying to upload documents or scan neither of which is working !!!!!!!!! I’m absolutely FURIOUS with Aer Lingus for this unnecessary palaver and god help whoever is working at Heathrow on Wednesday afternoon !!!!! Added to this my 18yr old is travelling alone from a different city the next day and the stress this will cause , I’m just going to go and check in at the airport and delete the app ! Sorry I ever ever followed the instructions that it was necessary when it’s NOT

Agree with everything already written here! I'm flying Manchester to Heathrow to San Francisco in the morning. Put in both flights, uploaded all the documents (takes an age for just 2 of us!) then the UK flight wants PL Form - but I don't need one! ( I tried to create one!) Consequently BA wont let me check in online; it says documents are incomplete, so I have no choice to check in at the airport in the morning. Why is this presented as an efficient tool?? I've wasted endless time today and am still faced with queueing to check in at 3.30 am. Appalling service BA & Verifly - wouldn't even give it one star !!

If I could give it 0, I would. What's the point of this app, when it works only when you leave on holiday and not when you return. Because you can't use it to return you can't book you seats 24hrs before your flight on BA. Obviously Verifly or BA don't read these reviews as this has been happening since at least July last year, maybe even longer and nothing has changed. I will still tick the box that says, Let Verifly know about your review but I don't think it will make any difference.

To be honest this does not deserve any rating. It is total crap. All the things you have to do in connection with flying is stressful enough,without having an app that doesn't work Bloody disgusting

AWFUL. 1. Cancún wasn’t listed as a departure airport 2. Therefore I couldn’t check in online with my wife (who is scared of flying) 3. Checked in at the airport, no seats together, so my wife and I sat alone for a 9 hour overnight flight. Great way to end the holiday VeriFLY!

Aer lingus app kept redirecting me to Verifly to check-in to fly from UK to Ireland. Verifly was not working. I went to Heathrow Airport 3 hours early to be sure I would get on my flight. Thankfully Aer Lingus staff were very helpful and efficient. I was disappointed that it took up a lot of my time while o a short weekend away. Travelling is stressful anyway now it is more frustrating, I honestly believe I will travel abroad less due to having to complete so much information
