Excellent platform
Excellent platform, highly recommended. Plenty of students, a practical, flexible system, and - best of all - prompt, helpful responses to queries. New tutors need to consider, when setting their prices, that PayPal takes a percentage. I've had to raise my fee a little to compensate for this. That said, there are no travel costs or other expenses, of course. Very happy here.

To learn a language you must learn…
To learn a language you must learn first by listening and then speaking, like a child. With Verbalplanet this is what you get - the chance to listen and to speak. The reading and writing come as homework so a student gets all he/she needs. The rest is up to the student!

Lesson schedule NOT user-friendly
Excellent teachers. Make lesson schedule easier to access! It is very un-user friendly. The icons are tiny, no overview of schedule and the lesson details don't tell you what day of the week.

An excellent way to learn
I like to learn new languages and have tried various ways of doing that. Verbal planet is a new way for me but it works really well. Its main advantages are the flexibility and fact that you have a native speaker who, usually, is well versed in teaching quickly and efficiently and in a way that is tailored speficially to you. I will definitely continue to use this way of learning.
