Good : - easy booking - easy payment - email recap new bookings - email 24h hours prior to each lesson, as reminder VERY DISSATISFYING : - No REFUND any more of cancelled lessons, even far in advance. Intolerable. Used to be possible until a couple of years ago. - Cost of the lesson : Far too expensive for an online 50-min session. About 16 USD!

The Tutor are excellent, Verbalplanet keeps increasing their fees every few months, which I think it is unfair. They should have a minimum fixed fee for the booking and then the Tutor's fee should be paid directly to the Tutor.

I found VerbalPlanet on Google searching to take language lessons online. Upon visiting their website, it's a little cluttered at first glance and difficult to use. And I was disappointed with the quality of the teachers available on the platform. It was not clear to me how the teachers were selected or what their qualifications were, and I did not feel confident in the quality of instruction I was receiving. In my opinion, while the website has some useful features, but still, the cluttered interface and unclear quality of teachers make it difficult to use and not worth the time.

Interface to book classes has improved.

The service to connect native teacher with a student directly is very flexible and convenient, and it is very good. However, regarding almost all discount rate has not been applied to the first lesson, I would be grateful if the cause of the problem will be solved in the near future.

The services are excellent in terms of the availability of tutors and diversity of tutors. However the website is awful. I run it in google chrome and it is incredibly hard to navigate.

Wonder why Verbalplanet doesn’t give discount for repeat loyal customers. Please don’t respond that teachers give loyalty discount. I do get 50cents and 25cents discounts from teacher when I pay them directly. However, the booking fee that the website/Verbalplanet is constant always even for repeat loyal customers. I feel bad that you don’t consider giving discounts while booking online with you. I had given this feedback earlier. I got cookie cutter responses saying teachers are giving loyalty discounts even though it is clear I am referring to Verbalplanet discount at the time of booking classes. Also, wish there is a app so we could see our appointments on phone when we are at working to make sure there are no clashes.

I love the platform and the idea behind it. I could not be happier with my teacher, he is the best! I am disappointed with the support, or lack there of, which I had received from the site support team. I am a blind person using a screen reader and had written quite an extensive description of the difficulties I have been having with some accessibility related issues of the website. Apart from a generic, automated response I received no reply and I contacted about 2 months ago so more than enough time to have replied. If it hadn't been for this, I would not hesitate to give a 5 star review, but I am actually quite upset, as a paying customer, to have had no response or help. So 4 days after posting this I received a reply that has basically nothing to do with my original complaint, I was asked a question and wasn't even told where and how I could directly answer it.It felt like a reply that had been written just so it looks like they replied. There was nothing in my personal mailbox about any of this. Continued disappointment.
