Ikuko-san is the best and most enthusiastic teacher I had in the last 20 years. It is enjoyable to follow her lessons.

Teacher cancelled after taking payment saying she wasn't accepting new students. Why, then, is she open for booking times on the site. I did promptly receive a refund without effort on my part to Verbalplanet's credit. Problem is teacher's showing availability on the reservation calendar and then saying I am not accepting students.

I have an excellent Greek teacher through Verbalplanet. The system works well and the cost is very reasonable. Much less expensive and more practical than attending a class in Greece! And I get tailor-made, one-to-one tuition.

Verbalplanet's website is easy to navigate. Once I have made a booking and paid, the payment is immediately acknowledged in my email. I also like that I get a reminder a day before the lesson. The resumes of the Dutch tutors that I have read are factual and clear. I am very satisfied with the tutor I have selected. We begin the lesson promptly and we use every minute constructively. I have learned a lot in my weekly lessons already. Living in Australia I do not have the opportunity to speak Dutch and this is a wonderful opportunity to hook up with teachers anywhere in the world at a time that suits both student and teacher.
