My experience has been with one tutor and it has been excellent. I’ve been learning Italian for over a year. The admin of verbalplanet has been good. I just wish they offer other options beside Skype as some contrives don’t allow Skype. As well I do wish there is a way they can offer certificates at every level of proficiency.

The services are excellent in terms of the availability of tutors and diversity of tutors. However the website is awful. I run it in google chrome and it is incredibly hard to navigate.

Verbalplanet is a great platform for finding a really excellent language teacher. The website is easy to use and the short introductory videos really help with choosing a teacher.
