VelvetJobsReviews of velvetjobs.com

I thought the website was simple to use and very helpful for someone who is currently job searching.

Easy to navigate the site and post my listings. Once I was ready to downgrade my account in between listings, I got a response quickly and was able to do so with ease! So great!

Great platform. Even better customer service.

it's a good website but I didn't find any potential candidates for job that I am looking to fill.

Ms. Christina, Let me say that Velvetjobs.com is the most complete "career assistance" site I have come across; and I have used many of them. Please, take note that I named Velvetjobs.com as a career assistance site and NOT a job board. Velvet jobs' tools have already taught me a great deal about how to write a modern resume. I am from a generation where it was proper to offer an objective at the beginning of your CV and I have done so ever since. However, due to more personal goals in my life the last five years, I have been a job hopper, having moved back and forth between Louisiana and Texas four times. This of course portrays me in a very bad light both as a perspective job applicant, and a viable employee. Velvet jobs offers, even its basic members, easy to use templates with real world wording and tips on how to populate your resume. For someone like me, this is invaluable as it both dictates how to do this, but also shows me how to do it, with very intelligent and realistic wording and phrases. I intend on coming back to Velvet Jobs because once I find a job that is in line with my experiential background; I fully intend on continuing to seek out a career more befitting my education, experience and passion I seek in my career. Ms. Christina, I want to give you a very sincere thank you for taking the time to write me back and ensure that my concerns were addressed. This speaks very highly of your character, but equally as high of the character of all those that run and work at Velvetjobs.com. I hope that this helps you understand why I will absolutely continue to use your service, and will become a full-fledged member once I am financially capable. Thank you again Christina, it is a pleasure to have made your acquaintance as well as to know that there are still people that take what they do as a career and for a living as serious and as passionately as you do. Sincerely, Juan A Martinez

I had a problem with posting jobs to our account and reached out the customer help email address for assistance. The responses were prompt, thorough, and quickly resolved our issues.

I used VelvetJobs to find a new opportunity and had a great experience. It was one of the best alert systems I found. Other sites sent me jobs that were not a fit, below my pay grade, and not within my wheelhouse. 75% of the alerts I received from VelvetJobs were relevant and from top companies across the country.

Velvet Jobs has a wonderful professional resume and cover letter service. My expert created a very professional and current resume/cover letter that gave me the confidence to apply for positions knowing that my application would be up to date and impressive.
